Double OO Nails & Spa

I have been coming here for months since they started out with a Grand Opening coupon a long time ago. The SNS gel for manicure is the best thing ever and lasts! I only have to go back every few weeks because it grows out eventually and I look forward to trying a new color every time. They have a great color selection. Their toe polish brands are high quality (ex. OPI) and last a long time and match the SNS colors too.
They are good at answering the phone and they are always to fit me into the schedule within a day max. I try to do only appointments because they are so popular and booked up (the regular people that work there Tye and Mindy for SNS)
They have remodeled and added on taking over the business space next door. What it looks like on the outside in an old shopping center does not match how nice it is on the inside! Their chairs are new and modern. The lighting is good. They have mellow music playing and TVs playing DVD movies all day with CC so you can read along.
They take their time there and are meticulous in their work. They are friendly and a family run business. It makes a difference when the person helping you is the owner, they have more pride and concern in your opinion/​satisfaction with the service.
They have hired some new people so I can’t say how good of a job the new people do, but the 4 or 5 people that have been there the longest are great!!!

I’m only taking off one star because my cuticles weren’t cleaned correctly. Every time I come in here it’s a good experience. Tye is awesome and so is Duy! My SNS came out great! This location is out of the way but I will make the drive. The location is beautiful and peaceful. If you look at my Unilocal profile, I am kind of a nail snob and I’m super picky with my nails and I love it here!

I decided to wait a few months/​go a couple times before writing this review to see if the quality of work was consistent each time. I moved to Corona a few months ago and was not motivated to look for a new salon closer to home. I had been going to the same salon for years in orange county and I know a good salon is hard to find. Well I really needed to get my nails done one day and I looked to Unilocal for help.
I think the whole SNS is what caught my attention as it seems everyone is raving about it. The salon is a little hard to find as its tucked away in a little strip mall but you will be surprised when you walk in. They recently expanded the space and have some fancy spa chairs. The whole feel of the place is very modern and clean as others have mentioned.
I just had my 4^th visit and I can honestly say that the quality of work and service has been amazing and consistent. I was lucky enough to find a nail tech (Duy) who explained the whole SNS before working on my nails. I am now one of those people talking about how great it is. I’ve never seen my nails so healthy and long before (without that horrible line you sometimes get when you get acrylic fills). They definitely last beyond 3 weeks and they stand by their 2 week guarantee. I’ve never had to go back to get anything fixed. There is no UV light or acrylic smell to the SNS. They look natural and feel lightweight with just enough durability.
I’ve had a different person do my pedicure each time and they have all done a good job. That hot rock massage does feel heavenly. A basic spa pedicure is $ 23.
They have a stamp card program where you get a stamp for every $ 20 that you spend. When you fill it up with 10 stamps you get $ 20 off the next visit. I can happily say that this is officially my go to salon in Corona.

Appointment was at 5:30 didn’t get attended until 6. 2 and a half hours and $ 33 later my nails are not the color I picked. I got my nails done for my graduation tomorrow morning, was informed after the two hour mark my nails will not be the color I chose until a week from today… Beyond disappointed

My co worker recommended this place to me about six months ago! I love it and will always keep coming back. My husband works during my free time so I sometimes have to drag my toddler with me, they are so patient with her… Especially when she decides to get her nails painted. I have done both acrylics (they last longer than most places) & gel. Love them both! Next time I will try the SNS.

Best nail Salon I’ve ever been to! So clean, and decorated beautifully. Was greeted by the owner, offered water, and he explained the SNS manicure.
They had a sweet movie playing, everyone was friendly and I walked away with the most beautiful set of nails I’ve ever had. I’m so happy with them, and a woman sitting next to me told me they last about a month!
There are so many nail places to choose from, so I get really picky. If one little thing goes wrong, I’ll just move on to the next salon. I know for a fact I’ll be back to this one!

I absolutely LOVE this place. I’ve been coming for a few months. The SNS gel nails are amazing and don’t use UV light. My nails have never been this long, strong, or healthy ever! The owners are kind and get to know their customers. They do a thorough job and pay attention to what you want done. It’s a great price for what you’re getting. They also have a stamp card, after 10 or so l services you’ll receive $ 20 off! Can’t beat that! I’d highly recommend anyone to come here. Ditch the old gel system and go with SNS!

I am a customer from the day the doors opened. I had a business next door. Due to a disability moved 1 hour away, yet i still would get my nails done here, on occasion because of a long two hour drive roubd trip.
I was always treated well, but not any more!
My story has a bad ending, Tye, the owner seems more apt to raise his fee then to provide good customer service. He did a full set, 2.5 weeks later each nail pooped off, not pealed off, or lifted, the just popped off like press on nails. He must be using cheaper primer, or cheaper products.
I called, sent pictures asking Tye to just refund my cc for a fill, not a full set, so i could go somewhere locally for a full set. He would not, he wants me to drive two hour round trip to have my nails redone by him, although i dont want them to do my nails again. I dont like the end result, so why would i go back. I have done my nails for many years, never EVER had this happen.
Why would i want to drive two hour round trip, waste gas and time for bad work???
I feel they are now using cheaper products. The proof is in the work. See photos…

The service was okay, I felt rushed picking out a color and a slight attitude by the lady doing my hands. However, my fingers and toes came out perfect & it is beautiful inside! Also, they have a wonderful color selection! The scrub and hot rocks felt amazing! I believe I will be coming back & hoping for a more polite experience.

I’ve gone to this salon for a few months now and I hate to say I won’t be going back. Mindy has done my nails every time and first I’ll just start off with saying her attitude stinks. She’s rough and after telling her to take off my acrylic nails because we discovered not 1 but 2 green fungi underneath my nails, she painfully RIPPED each of the acrylic nails off. Mind you she’s the only person who’s done my acrylics, and her attitude is bad each time.
I instead got a gel manicure which started to peel after 2 days, which was a painful waste of $ 30. I can’t speak on pedicures because I never get them there but unless you go to Tye or Meghan for SNS (which unfortunately my nails hate), good luck on getting a decent nail job. Beware!

This is my favorite nail spa! I travel 30 minutes just to get here, because it’s the only place that does SNS nails correctly (and one of the few places that has it in the first place).
The customer service is great. Tye spent time explaining the SNS nails to me, which are similar to gel nail polish, but much better for your nail health. He explained to me why the places I have gone to before weren’t correctly applying the gel powder.
This is the best nail salon I’ve found in California after shopping around for the right place for a year. It’s not too much money, and doesn’t take too much time. The products they use are soothing and keep your skin feeling good for days. Really would recommend this spa!

Great first experience– I’ve found my new go-​to nail salon! Walked in at 11am on Sat and Tony did a great job! I asked for Tye originally only cause of the comments & I saw a pic of nails he did for someone but he was working on a customer. I showed him a pic of the acrylic almond nude nails I wanted to try and it came super close to being exact! He was super friendly and took his time. I think next time I’ll do round nails… I’m just not used to the shape although it’s what almond nudes look like! Overall I was very happy and will be coming back.

Tye is the man! I do everything last minute, Tye always accommodates me. Not only is it very clean it’s gorgeous, very chic and modern. The basic pedicures come with a hot rock massage!!! Talk about relaxing. The staff is friendly and professional. I am very particular about my nails, but I know when I sit in Tye’s chair, I am in good hands!

I came for my second SNS manicure today and absolutely love it. Tye introduced my thin, damaged nails to it and I’ll never go back to gels again. They feel so much lighter and natural on your hands and lasted me 5 weeks between visits without chipping or peeling. Slowly but surely my nails are getting stronger and healthier and as I used to bite them off I’ve been so happy to see them growing longer.
Tye and his staff are very kind and helpful. The salon can get pretty busy and hectic but their work stays precise, and they’ve been more than willing to try some out of the ordinary designs for me. I’ll absolutely be back.

Danger… Not up to fire code safety. You can see they built an extra space for pedicures that is not up to CITY CODE. They shuve as many people as possible making it unsafe for the customers and has huge fire safety issue, I suppose customer safety is not thier top priority!
If your decide on eyebrow waxing, and there is an emergency your stuck in the back, your life is in DANGER. It’s a very small shop with a lot of new equipment.
NO DISABILITY ACCESS YOU COULDN’T FIT A WHEELCHAIR IN THIS PLACE on a busy day, (shameful) counted over 30 people including staff at one time.
This is place is overcrowded and has the nerve to charge $ 24 for Basic Pedicure. That is the lowest fee for thier (Nothing Special Pedicurel) so they can rub warm rocks on your feet, absolutely nothing special for a huge price difference. Thier original spa Pedicure was $ 15. Well they don’t offer regular spa pedicures anymore, be ready to shell out $ 24 for a not so exiting Pedicure
Gouging customers, Shuffling you around, it’s a overpriced, over crowded and there prices are ridiculous for the work they do, this SNS process be ready to shell out at least $ 80per month because they have to remove and start again No fills!
MY NAILS ARE THICK AND Un-​SHAPED. THE owner named Tie is so busy TRANSLATING for his un trained and under experienced staff it’s a absolute waisted time here.
Fix your shop!, SO YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAFE, AND STOP BEING SO GREEDY
Don’t respond for me to come back. fix your shop, consider the safety of your clients, & staff apply the alloted number of people and staff allowed by City code enforcement, put you greed aside and either enlarge your space or get ready for Code Enforcement City Inspection.

Unfortunately i had a bad experience bad enough were i wont be back. The lady that did my pedicure cut half of my toe nail and she tried to reglued it back on. When i got home it hurt really bad and the other toe where she poke me got infected. The polish barely lasted and cracked and peel after 5 days. And the layered powered I always get in my nails usually last about 2 weeks before i need a fill this time it lifted and came off in a week. Like i said sometimes one really bad experience is enough to loose a customer.

The experience and quality is outstanding. I get compliments on my nails at work and even the grocery store! They are kind, clean, and it’s a peaceful environment. My nails look amazing with SNS

From the first phone call to then being seen the zame day for brand new SNS nails… my experience was great.
Tye explained the SNS and how its different from the gel I had been doing for years. He has gotten my nails much more healthy with only two trips to him. I only have to go in once a month. They last so long and I’m hard of my nails. I get compliments all the time even the ladies at Starbucks took a picture of the business card I have on my wallet, they are going to visit. Love Tye, super nice and clean place and stylish… lots of décor from ikea. Super cute.

Great nail salon! Tye did a great job! He was patient, nice, and informed me about proper nail care for my very delicate nails.
I got the SNS nails… Best decision I’ve ever made! They’re similar to gel nails, but last longer and practically impossible to chip! Mine last about 3 weeks until I decide to take them off.
The ONLY negative I have about them is that you have to soak your fingers in acetone to remove them (the nail polish LITERALLY melts off) which I’m sure isn’t healthy, and dries my skin out. Although I’m sure it isn’t too much damage if done in moderation.
All in all, the staff is kind and attentive. There usually isn’t a long wait especially if you call to make an appointment in advance. The décor is cozy, inviting, modern, and clean. I’d recommend Double O to anyone. I’m officially a regular customer!
