There are many Home Inspectors out there, before we made our Appointment we talked to several of them, they were different in price, and what they offer. Greg stood out from the bunch, not only is he very knowledgeable, he takes the time to educate you on his findings so you can make an educated decision. He was very personable, thorough, reasonably priced, and answers questions any time you need him. Will definitely recommend Greg to anyone who needs his services. 5 Star Service!

The fact that this is my first Unilocal review should speak volumes to the quality and integrity Greg brings to the business. He knew we were first time home buyers, was extremely approachable and took great care to ensure the home was inspected thoroughly. He spent over 4 hours covering the home, grounds, and extended structures; going over key points on the report with us and answering all of our questions before we left. He uncovered multiple safe/​health violations as well as electrical and water lines that were not run to code. We entrusted Greg and he delivered 110%. Based upon his findings we did not move forward with this home purchase. We are still looking for a home and will call Greg as soon as we have an offer accepted. You will not be disappointed if you hire Greg. He responds immediately to emails and texts and will work with you’re schedule. I cannot recommend more strongly.

Lacks professionalism and completely oversteps his boundaries. You are an inspector, not an engineer, plumber and electrician. Only use this guy if you want a headache and an incomplete inspection.

Greg inspected the condo I was in the process of buying. I received quotes from several companies and Greg’s was by far the most reasonable.
Greg showed up on time and during the whole inspection process, Greg took his time explaining the issues he found and he also made recommendations to those problems. Not only was Greg extremely knowledgeable, he was very friendly too.
I will definitely use Greg again and I will recommend him to my family and friends.

We have used Greg now for 2 home inspections. Both times he was on time which is very important to me. He is also very thorough and we trust him to inspect our homes before making such a huge purchase. He came highly recommended from a friend who also used him twice and that speaks volumes

I have to say that Greg was a recommendation through my realtor. He was very professional in how he communicated with my husband and I. But I’m disappointed (very) with his inspection report. 1. My husband and I were buying a house that had a saltwater pool. He charged us an extra 75 dollar fee to inspect it but couldn’t tell us how deep it was. Hmm, he couldn’t/wouldn’t put a stick in the deepest part of the water and measure the wet part of the stick to tell us how deep it is? 2. He was informed that we had a saltwater pool prior to the inspection date. At NO time did he tell us that him inspecting the controls for working condition was «outside of his scope». Why charge us and collect our funds for a job you couldn’t complete? It wasn’t until final walk through 2 days before closing that we discovered that the pool controls weren’t working per a coincidental visit from a pool company during our walk through. Once the pool company told us that the controls weren’t working, we called Greg to ask him if he inspected it. His response… it’s outside of his scope. 3. Greg mentioned that the inside of the fireplace had been painted and can potentially cause dangerous fumes if lit. I called a licensed contractor to come out and give me estimates on removing the paint from the side walls inside the fireplace (along with other repairs) and imagine my surprise when the contractor asked me to bend down and touch the inside wall. I was embarrassed because what Greg said was paint was actually the enclosed part of the actual fireplace. Meaning Greg didn’t even touch the so called wall that was «painted» because if he did, he would have felt what I felt. I’m wishing him success in his future endeavors but I won’t recommend him and after relaying my disappointment to my realtor I’m hoping she won’t either. The pool alone could have costed us a few thousand dollars to repair all because he failed to let us know it was «outside of his scope». But that money certainly was inside of his scope!

Greg is awesome! He was available when I needed a home inspection within 2 days. He’s punctual, efficient and overall detailed. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is thorough and sees every little aspect throughout the inspection. He recommends what’s best for you and he’s there when you have questions. My realtor was amazed at his work and would recommend him as well to her clients. I’m so glad I chose him, no doubt! The price is totally worth it too!

Greg did an excellent job on my home inspection. His pricing was fair and he is very reliable. He showed up on time and was very thorough. My realtor said that of all the years she has been doing this, this guy was the longest inspection she’s seen. (good thing). Greg acted as if the house was his own. Which is good. The inspection took three hours. Being a first-​time homebuyer, Greg even walked around the property and showed me where all the valves and shutoff were. Overall I’d recommend Greg to anybody needing a home inspection.

Best of class home inspector! I can’t recommend Greg and his company enough. He is extremely detailed and has incredible turn around time. Like the review below mine, I too found Greg through Unilocal and also believe that his 5 stars are 100% justified. He was flexible with his scheduling and made me feel at ease right from the beginning. He was on time and did an amazingly thorough job. He was ready and willing to answer any question I had. When the inspection was complete I received a very thorough report the very next morning and a follow-​up email just to ensure I understood everything. Words can not describe the sheer amount of pleasure, satisfaction, and care my wife I received from utilizing Diamond Property Inspections. Not only was Greg thorough, he walked me through my entire house and inspection. This was my first home purchase, and it can be kinda scary. Its the biggest investment we’ve made, and we are so happy that the inspector took the time to explain it to us. Very thorough inspection report is provided at the completion of the inspection and Greg goes over everything before leaving. He walks you through the property and explains what is needed and more importantly why its needed. I really appreciated his expertise and professionalism. Detail: I have bought a few homes over the years. I have had some good and bad inspectors, but Diamond Property Inspections is the best inspection I have ever had. On top of a WORLD CLASS inspection that Greg checked things no one ever checked before, the photos and report was an unexpected surprise.

My Husband and I are first time home buyers and we had no idea who to go to for our home inspection. We decided to go with Greg after reading the other reviews on Unilocal and were so pleased that we went with him a second time when our first home fell out of escrow. The second time around, I needed to set up an appointment asap and Greg responded to my email almost immediately (and it was very late in the evening, certainly outside of working hours). Every time I emailed him, he responded right away. Every time I called him, he answered his phone and was more than happy to help me. He showed up to the inspection on time, and was able to open the property with the supra key (which was great, because my Agent wouldn’t have been able to make it to the property until late in the week). He was thorough and precise, and after both inspections, he delivered the detailed inspection report to us within 12 hours. Both reports were nearly 40 pages and gave us a summary of key items that he recommended be repaired near the end. You can trust and rely on Greg, and I would recommend him to everyone!

Greg Terry has proven to be a great home inspector. His knowledge of property condition is above the average home inspector knowledge.
