Conroys Flowers

Last year, 1800flowers dropped the ball and forgot to deliver my daughters flowers (which I order for her every year). They refunded my money, but I was very putout. So this year I drove to Conroys, ordered 2 dozen long stem pink roses. My daughter received 2 dozen red roses and 5 of the roses had stems about 5 inches long which were tucked into the base of the vase to stay without falling out. I paid $ 169 for 2 dozen long stem pink roses; they delivered 19 long stem red roses and 5 short stem red roses. Why did I give them 1 star? They delivered on time.

I placed an order for 1 dozen white roses 1 week in advance for valentine’s day and I went to go pick them up today and the lying employees said they ran out and tried selling me some arrangement I did not request without discounting the cost. I told her to call the other locations and get the white roses I paid for and she didn’t even call and walked to the back and immediately came out with a dozen white roses telling another employee she took it from another order. No you were trying to sell my order off you disgrace of a company. I will never use them again. If there was a way to give a negative star rating I would without hesitation.

I’m so glad I didn’t let all the negative reviews on this page sway my decision to order flowers from this conroys location.
I ordered flowers to be sent to my best friend at work before 12pm. They arrived at 1030. The arrangement was exactly as I expected it to be.
I’ve ordered flowers for many occasions and usually end up having the same problem everyone else has. The arrangement ends up be nothing like what I selected.
Thank you for the quality service. I will definitely be using your location to send out flowers again.

My sister ordered me flowers for my birthday. When I got them I was surprised and sent her a picture of them. The response I got from her was, «are you kidding me this is a joke. That’s not even what I ordered.» She told me what she ordered was completely different and she was going to email them and complain. So she told them that I received something different from what she ordered and that she would send them a picture so they could see she wasn’t exaggerating. They said no pictures were needed and they would have the ones she ordered re delivered to me. So the delivery man shows up and says, «I’m here to pick up old flowers and give you new ones.» So I handed him the old flowers and then he says, «oh I’m going to need to use your vase because the one I have broke.» Ok that’s fine with me however, the flowers I should be receiving were to come in a tall vase. When he handed me the flowers they were almost exactly the same as the ones he was taking. Needless to say maybe conroys should have accepted my sisters offer and took a look at what she ordered and what I received. Seems to me that they give you whatever they want.

Horrible, horrible job and even worst customer service. Ordered a beautiful, expensive bouquet through FTD for my mom for Valentine’s Day. They delivered 5 roses and a plain clear vase. When I contacted convoy’s about a quality issue they insisted in going to pick up the cheap roses they delivered. Who does that?! How embarrassing. Naturally I stated how that was not acceptable and the representative hung up on me. What a horrible business they are running.

Incompetency and idiocy seems to be the general theme with the people at Conroys Flowers. As a Unilocaler, I rarely ever give a one star. If I could give Conroys a negative five I would! How is it possible to botch a flower arrangement? A blind sloth could’ve done a better job than the people who arranged my mother’s flowers.
With shipping/​handling/​taxes etc. I paid over $ 90 to have nice flowers sent to my mother. Thanks for royally messing it up guys.

My boyfriend got me flowers for my birthday which was a huge sweet surprise! With that being said my boyfriend did great however the florist did a crappy job. The flowers came all bent and not smelling like tulips at all! I don’t know how much he spent on the arrangement but he got ripped off and deserves a much needed refund!!!

Came to this Conroy’s for a quick center piece and small corsage but their selection was very minimal. I asked for help and was simply told she could only do a large bouquet and nothing else. I started to ask a question and she looked over my shoulder and began speaking to the next customer. I asked for her manager’s name which she gave as Aly but refused to give me her name. I have gone here numerous times in the past but never again.

Do not get your flowers from here, or go through any company that uses them.
Everything that went wrong:
1.) Ordered a casket spray for my father in law. They changed the delivery address to the cemetery rather than the funeral home WITHOUT telling me or
2.) I paid extra for a banner around the flowers, they had two typos… really?
3.) They were LATE delivering the casket spray to the cemetery!!! ITS A FUNERAL PEOPLE… C’MON!!! We had to literally pull over to the side of the road and wait for them to get there. We had to open the hearse, put the flowers on (in front of the family). I get missing a birthday or anniversary delivery here or there. But don’t f-​up a funeral delivery.
And they were WAY over priced.

Do not use Conroy’s. I should have listed to Unilocal,but gave them the benefit of the doubt because they have so many locations. Should have never done it.
Did not deliver what I ordered, and were confrontational when I called to complain. Although they issued a small credit, it doesn’t make up for the fact that they spoiled a surprise I was sending to someone for their 20^th ANNIVERSAY!
Feel like they took advantage of me because I called from N. CA, and they knew I wouldn’t see what they were sending.
I spent $ 145 for a arrangement I could have bought at the supermarket for $ 40. What a disappointment.

So my boyfriend ordered flowers & chocolates a couple days before valentines day to be sent to my work. An elderly guy comes in my work telling me he has flowers for me so I follow him to his truck. He didn’t have them in his truck. He tries calling the place and no one picks up. He was confused on what to do so he gives me a paper to try to find them at the store. I don’t know whose job it is to pack these flowers for the customers he has listed but they are to blame.

I ordered my 84 year old Mom a special, large, all purple bouquet for Mother’s Day — about $ 80. When it arrived, I assumed it was from one of my siblings because it did not resemble my order in any way. Not one purple flower in the whole thing! I could have spent $ 20 at Vons and done better. I stopped the delivery person and they told me I had to complain to the shop directly. When I tried, the Manager basically told me that because of the Mother’s Day Rush, you get what you get. I went back to
where the purchase was made and they promised me that Conroy’s would be delivering the correct bouquet to her promptly. Instead, Conroy’s sent someone to her house to pick up the flowers that they had delivered previously. Several days later, she still had not received her order and I ended up getting a refund from
. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Well, my boyfriend ordered online for delivery for my mom on mother’s day. He paid $ 60 in total. So, I was thinking that it would be good. When it arrived, it was SO far from amazing and definitely far from $ 60 worth. It was cute but definitely not $ 60. There were about 5 small pink roses, white flowers with about 5 carnation. It did not look like they spent time on making it. They gave us a vase but it looks like from a 99cent store. Totally not worth it. Next time, we’d rather buy at ralphs or something.

42 bucks for 8 stems is not a good deal. The lady that helped me was sub par and didn’t even know the prices til we got up to the front and she starts typing them into a calculator. Weird how she all of a sudden remembered. She wasn’t very good with the arrangement either. If you go to conroys flowers go to the one in Redlands off of Barton and Alabama the people there are much nicer and they are up front about prices and arrange much better. Skip this place

I am so disappointed with Conroy’s and Teleflora as well. I am writing a not so great review. My son in law ordered flowers for my daughters first mothers day the day before. Granted it wasn’t the best day to do this, but the way he gets paid, that is when he had the money. the thing is, teleflora advertises that is just fine if you want to pay extra, which he did. He chose a very nice arrangement and sent in the order. Order was to arrive before 5 p.m. on mothers day… we waited all day. about 4:50 he called Conroy and was told, oh yes, well, you won’t get the flowers until Tues, due to problems on our end… blah, blah, blah. no one bothered to call to let him know this, by the way and they had his number since he had called earlier –after he completely went ballistic. He went to albertsons and bought a really nice bouquet and while he was gone, flowers from Conroy did arrive. they weren’t even close to what he had ordered. he was to get a 50% refund for the error, but of course with the left over flowers you sent, I doubt if he will receive that. If you can not deliver service don’t say you can and if an arrangement is ordered, that is the one we want. My daughter was ok with it, because of the flowers from albertson’s (expensive as well, btw), but he was and still is really upset because he wanted everything to be special for her first Mothers Day. Hope this helps someone else. Don’t order from Conroy’s nor Teleflora.

Don’t get a corsage or boutonnière here by any means. It is incredibly small for what you pay. This was my experience purchasing these for high school prom years ago, so it may be different now, but considering how many flower shops there are in Corona, I should have gone to one of the ghetto ones on main street that give overgrown roses on steroids that look like a bouquet on your wrist. These places often do over the top orders for Quinceañeras and stuff, so they would be a better choice over Conroys.
