Clinica Mi Pueblo

I needed to get a TB test as a pre employment requirement and glad I found this place. The staff is nice, and the rate for a TB test is the cheapest in town! $ 20 for the test. ($ 38 in other Urgent Care places). Went on a Saturday morning and it wasn’t crowded. Came back two days later for the reading and didn’t walt too long to be called.

Started getting sick on Saturday and my breathing started getting worse. A cold i thought.
A bit concerned, since i’d run out of my inhaler a few days before. Made it through a miserable weekend health-​wise.
Clinica Mi Pueblo has a small pharmacy. I keep my prescription from them on file there. My inhaler «Ventolin» is $ 22.00 to $ 20.00 CHEAPER there then at my nearby drugstore and supermarket pharmacies. I checked, since last time i went in, they asked if i wanted to keep my prescription there or take it elsewhere.
Monday i went in for the inhaler, did not want to wait around for 1 hour to see the doctor who had just gone to lunch. Too miserable. Just wanted to go home and rest. Good logic, eh?
Yesterday, Tuesday — i gave in and went back. My breathing now a rattle that i could even feel when touching my chest, plus fever and non-​stop cough.
Aside from the Asthma and Emphasyma, have picked myself up a case of Bronchitis now! Some immediate injections. X-​rays again, then home with a bag full of medicine.
Clinica Mi Pueblo — excellent medical care at a reasonable price. The nicest and most professional people one could ever meet. From the Doctors to the technical staff. They know what they are doing! Kept me around, waiting for X-​rays, but really to make sure the injections kicked in.
I saw a different doctor (PA-​C) during this visit then in September. Equally as knowledgeable, equally as kind and caring as Dr. Delgadillo.
As mentioned in my previous review, they cater primarily to Hispanic patients. But they are honorable and decent and per above, apparently also trying to do their best to maintain reasonable drug costs for the patients! Wished the pharmaceutical companies and our politicians did the same thing!

I took my Mom here today. She has been really sick and can not get in to see her new doctor (ObamaCare) until Tuesday. We did not have an appointment yet they took her right in after she filled out her ppwk. My Mom said that the Doctor (female) was very nice and even shook her hand. She spent a decent amount of time with her and we were out of there in 1 hour. I’m sure we would have been out of there sooner, but they had to give her a breathing treatment. Total damage was $ 150 which included the consult, 2 injections, the breathing treatment and her prescription. While some may think it’s on the high end, she would have paid so much more at your regular doctor’s office. They do not accept insurance.

This place has been great. The Obamaconomy raised my Kaiser payment so much that I coudnt afford it anymore. This place only charges 30 dollars for a doctors visit. The doctor will spend a decent amount of time with you for this 30 dollars you spend. You wont find a less expensive doctor anywhere. They care about your health here too. Unlike Kaiser where you are just another sheep in the stall.
