Amazing with my entire family. Patient and thorough. We love his office staff too! They have a nice selection of glasses. It is a clean office with lots of space and brightly lit. Ample parking and easy to find.

Dr Bartell is one of the most conscientious doctors I have ever come in contact with. If all doctors were like him I would not dread going to see one. He takes the time to find out about who you are and what you need. He gives you options and is very explanatory about what he is doing to you. Dr. Bartell is genuine in wanting to do what is best for your eyes. I have glaucoma and he has worked with me to get the pressures down. He is very knowledgeable about what the different procedures are and sent me to a well qualified opthamologist. He even called after hours to find out how I am doing and if there are questions I want to ask. I can’t say enough good things about this doctor; if you want the best quality care Dr Bartell is your man. The staff are awesome. Extremely friendly and they always have a good attitude. I enjoy going to his office… thank you Dr. Bartell… I always know I’m in good, trust-​worthy hands and now days that seems to be a rarity.

Dr. Bartell is an extremely dedicated doctor. He cares about his patients and makes the extra effort to make you feel welcome. After being a patient of his for 10 years, I have never been misled or pressured to buy anything I did not need. I appreciate his honesty and recognize the value of the service he provides. Keep up the excellent work!

This Dr. is amazing!!! Everyone in my household sees him, and we all love their staff!!! They are always accommodating and very informative. We love our SCO crew!!!

All he cares about is your money!
My prescription sunglasses were $ 213 after insurance, and they were not THIN lenses like we had agreed on. Either the staff was a poor communicator with me, or she screwed up on the order.
Also, I have dry eye syndrome, and he and his staff had no knowledge of the condition. I was using excess preservative drops at the time, and he didn’t tell me otherwise (turns out that the drops damage the cornea, oh and when he DID look at my paperwork weeks later, he apologized.)
Let’s see, he tried to sell me an $ 800 «Lipiflow» procedure! Plus, he insisted that I wear contacts even though, my eye was severely dry and inflamed! Lucky for me I held off and did some research. Found some things that have helped, and 6 months later, my eyes are ready for contacts.
BUT Dr. Bartell wanted me to PAY for my follow-​up visit (even though I already had paid for the contact lens fitting months ago).
Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Bartell and the staff at South Corona Optometry are great. My son and I have been going there for years and always have a great experience. I highly recommend them.
