Calvary Chapel Corona

I have attended this church since its inception 23 years ago. It is a good bible teaching church with great pastors and great leadership. My family and I have been blessed to be a part of this church and love the people. It is a very warm and loving church.

To Lorena who posted on 8÷30÷2015; you comments were so unfair. I have attended this church. It is a good bible based church where God’s word is taught line by line. You were not asked if you had a passport because you were being discriminated against. It is a federal law that U.S. citizens traveling between the U.S. and Mexico must have a U.S. Passport to travel between Mexico and the U.S. now. It’s not the churches rules. If you don’t have a valid passport, you cannot go to Mexico. That is the only reason you were asked if you had a passport. I hope you pray on this, reconsider and join our church on a Mexico trip. You will be blessed.

Today a horrible experience after the 11:00 am service… I had been thinking to get information about the trip to Mexico orphanage. I went to the information there were two ladies there one FAT Lady «yes! That’s I would like to describe her because she discriminated me»!!! When I asked and all I asked was «when is the next trip to Mexico’s orphanage?» The FAT lady approached me and said «I don’t have any brochures, but you need to have a U.S. Passport do you have one?» I was shocked… I said «what makes you think I don’t have my hair color??? plus it is obvious I would think the church smuggles ppl back into the USA right??? She though I looked illegal and that’s why she said that… disgusting may Christ forgive her for acting and hurting me… I know the bible says «But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let
your left hand know what your right hand does,» i donate $ 100 dls every other week to the church and is not easy that I could be one day of work. I know it doesn’t go to her but I can’t be part of a racial place that falsely praise the Lord!

Great church, great leadership. Enjoy going to church every week. Great child’s program and adult service. We go through the bible verse by verse, word by word. Real biblical teachings.

We first started going to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in 82, and then we relocated to Corona in early 2006 and started going to Calvary Chapel corona to worship, and it’s been great, and we thank God for leading us to this church for it has been a blessing for us… and pastor Mike is truly a man of God.

Went to this church for 12 years. Most of the people were awful. I went here throughout my childhood and stopped while I was in High School. The kids were merely that, kids. They thrived on gossip and didn’t take fellowship seriously. The parents were not any better. Both parents and kids have distinct cliques, so if you aren’t accepted into one, you don’t belong. When you are going through an issue, they cast you out and some people openly share their crtisisms with you. They say that they are «praying for you» but they then ignore you until they think the issue has blown over. Very fake people. They talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk.
Teaching was okay, head pastor gets political too much. There have been issues people have had with others that they shared with Mike and nothing or too little was done about it.
Many people have left this church for that reason.
Personally, I feel that as a whole this church is a disgrace to the term Christ-​like. Leaving this church was the best decision I have ever made.

A loving church, filled with amazing people! Pastor Mike teaches the Word! I love it there! The negative reviewer’s comment is judgmental, come see for yourself that God dwells in this place, and that the Word is taught!

My son has been enrolled at this school for about 4 months. I mean he is happy, and as long as he doesn’t have any complaints I am ok with this place… although I really have not been satisfied with private schools in general since the teachers don’t care for the children as much since they have no real standards, and they always seem judgmental. But like I told one Fundamentalist once. you judge others with your eyes, and by their appearance as if they are sinners, and demons but accept their money like if they are saints.

Been there a couple of times, all I learn is that you need to be really «naïve» to trust Muslim people…
Bad, bad for Mike… I can not call him a Pastor since a real Pastor will not talk about other religions like he did… The first time he referred to Catholics and made a comment as well… But the last comment was REALLY smart…
