I go to Burger Basket for lunch! It’s always busy, but they have fast service! My favorite item is the chicken tacos… Seriously the best hard shell tacos I’ve ever had! Their salsa is amazing too!

Decent food, shit service. The girls literally look like they are 15 and very distracted. The last time my order was incorrect and it’s incorrect tonight as well. The drive thru sucks. Won’t be coming back again.

This is true SoCal home style food and we loved it! The long drive thru line and packed tiny parking lot was an indicator this place is a Corona hot spot! They have a wide variety on the menu like burgers, sandwiches, burritos, and such and also serve breakfast ALL DAY!!! For two people, it was just under $ 20 and I didn’t order a drink so maybe a little pricey but you have to remember it’s NOT fast food. It’s made fresh to order but fast! Can’t wait to try more menu items!

This is an independently-​owned California burger joint. If you grew up in Southern California suburbia, then this kind of place will be familiar to you.
Menu is a long list of everything from burgers, sandwiches, onion rings, fries to a little Mexican and breakfast burritos and sandwiches.
At this kind of place, I look out especially for the chili cheese fries and pastrami. The chili cheese fries here are good… not spectacular for me. The fries are nicely fried, the cheese is good, and the chili is just OK. It’s the chili that pushes it down into mediocre category.
As for the pastrami… It sucks big time. Do not get the pastrami.
I’m giving this place a four-​star because the rest of the menu is good. The breakfast burritos are the best deal, and too much food in the morning. The burgers are really good. And the fries are nice.
After trying a bunch of things here, and also really trying to like the chili cheese fries, my choice when coming here is the cheeseburger basket combo. You get the burger, fries and a drink. Keep it simple.

Their burger baskets are the way to go! Fried zucchini & onion rings are superb! Salads aren’t the best, if your coming here might as well be a fatty & order the fried stuff! Always will be a happy paying customer!

I went to my normal breakfast burrito spot and it was closed. Ended up finding this place on Unilocal.
Great choice! I got the bacon breakfast burrito. It was very good, but I did add guacamole to it as well. It was large, eggs were great, hash browns and cheese infused, with a pretty good tortilla.
I really enjoyed the hot sauce that comes complimentary. Above average breakfast burrito, would definitely eat here again!
Update: I was usually going to Alberto’s, but I happily found Burger Basket! A few of my co workers always raved about it, but never made it in. Glad I did. My office is down on 6th street and I will definitely be back!

After my latest visit to sample the Mexican food side of the menu I at least know what to order and not to order next time. I still love the breakfast burrito and their burgers, but the latest experience had me feeling like I was trapped in a basket.
Above all I do want to still say the customer experience created from the service of the staff is incredible. At least that remains consistent and does help in wanting to come back of course.
So I came this time for the carne asada burrito which for me is my staple Mexican meal everywhere I go as seen in my other reviews, but this one just fell flat for some reason. Well to be fair it wasn’t exactly stellar, but it didn’t have me heaving into the trash can either. I think with maybe a few tweaks it could be something stellar.
As shown in the picture it certainly is a lot to pound out in one sitting and will NOT leave you hungry afterwards that’s for sure! My main pain point to the whole experience was that the burrito felt mushy overall. I think it was maybe an overload of refrained beans because that was way too abundant in the burrito to me. It overshadowed the ingredients and felt like I was eating a burrito from a squeeze tube which I admit was disappointing as everything else here has been amazing. At least on a side note the carne asada did pack some nice flavor and was pull apart tender so that saved part of the meal at least.
At least when I go back I will return for the burgers and chalk this out as simple trial and error.

It’s my favorite place for fried zucchini. They have a variety of items you can choose from. It is pretty pricey but the amount of food you get is worth it.
I don’t usually comment on customer service at a fast food joint but honestly the girl that helped me at the drive thru was very pleasant and all smiles. Thought it was worth mentioning.

I came here for lunch on the way to Disneyland. Im so glad we saw this place. I ordered the bacon burger combo and it was so delicious! Very filling and at a reasonable price. The employees were nice and they were working very hard since there was a huge lunch rush. Even with the rush it didn’t take long to get our food.

Bakersfield water polo coaching staff needed some good food, so I recommended we go to Burger Basket. We all got cheese burgers, and my boss got it with Bacon. They loved it, they we super happy with recommendation. Thanks for helping me look good Burger Basket!
The burgers are old school, Fresh charbroiled taste and toppings. REAL BACON! on burgers taste like you cooked it at home.
Plenty of fries come with basket, you can also get onion rings which are also very tasty.
I have been here before for breakfast, and I do recommend the breakfast burritos.

Amazing Food. If you looking for your old fashion style burgers, this is the place to go. If your looking for breakfast — I recommend the Breakfast Burrito or the Chilil Cheese Omelet.
