Selection is great here, though I think the prices are pretty high. You can get some descent deals and they send coupons all the time, but overall you can get most of the items cheaper pretty much everywhere else. They sell some great brands and good quality products, so I do shop here for specialty items or when looking for something better, but overall it’s just too pricey.

Went to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy Yankee Candle plug ins today. There was a clearance basket for 1.99 ea. There was 2 refills one was missing cap with no packaging. Went to pay. Manager said this was not on clearance. It was regular price at 14.00. Without a cap it had already leaked on my hand. I sure wasn’t going to pay regular price for it. Can’t believe Manger had the nerve to not sell it for reduced price. Disappointed in Managent.

I have few other locations closer to the house but I choose to come to this one because of the employees. They’re always so pleasant & helpful. Worth the drive!

Need to go COUPONMOBILE!!! Ugh! You have to carry around a MASSIVE coupon in your purse for a month on the off chance you decide to run into bed bath for something. Then if you don’t have it HOWEVER you’re on their email list you’re thinking, they can probably look it up. NOPE!!! I doubt I’ll be «checking in» to this store again. P. s. I was informed I could bring my receipt back to save my 20% off 1 item. Thanks but fuel cost to come back would still put me at a deficit.

This Bed Bath and Beyond’s customer service is fabulous. A friend of mine came here to return an item I had bought her online for her bridal shower and had a terrible experience which I won’t go into, because the management totally made up for it. After my friend had the bad experience, she called me to tell me about it. I was so mad she went through so much trouble on my account that I wrote an angry letter to BB&B. The next day I got a personal phone call from Ellen(the district manager?). She listened to my story, apologized profusely, and did everything she could to fix the situation and make it right. She even told me that they would be using my feedback to retrain their employees. It made such a difference that she didn’t just send a coupon and an automatic apology e-mail, or take weeks to respond. I felt like I was listened to and valued as a customer. She even called the bride after she called me to apologize! Thanks for making a sucky experience into a good one :)

I tried to get a cash refund on a can opener today because I received two for Christmas both bought at Bed Bath & Beyond. I had my gift receipt and they would only give me a store credit, that is ridiculous to expect a customer to take a store credit for a gift at Christmas time if they do not have the original receipt. What is the purpose of a gift receipt then? They need to change their policy. I was going to buy a food dehydrator, but it will be an extremely long time before I shop there again. I’ll go buy it at Target.

***This is a pretty good Bed Bath & Beyond; it might be slightly smaller than some of Bed Bath & Beyond’s other locations, but they had a few interesting things and their prices seemed to be a good value compared to the nearby Target; service was pleasant(a little slow due to not many people working the registers, but they addressed the issue quickly)*** This Bed Bath & Beyond is part of a huge retail plaza that has its own free parking lot. The lot is huge and it is easy finding an open space close to the store’s entrance.

You know those«As Seen On TV» items that always turn out to be a piece of junk? Well, if you really must buy them, you can probably find them here, or at any BB&B. And speaking of junk, they have an excellent return policy. If they recognize it as something they carried, they will take it back. My persistent daughter taught me that when my nearly senile mom insisted I return something she had bought well over a year ago that was nearly $ 100 in price. I was anticipating dying of humiliation, but they did not hassel me at all. But in all their mega madness, I really do love bringing all my old 20% off coupons in, expired or not, and applying them to my purchases. I really don’t know why they put expiration dates on the coupons anyway.

Update… went in here again & here is another reason I don’t like BB&B. Purchased the exact same thing I needed at target for less than ½ the price. So, customer svc is not good, prices are high.

Great quick stop today. Had my 20% off coupon and ran in to get the item I needed. I love how that even if you didn’t have your coupon, you can still make a purchase, then once you get a coupon, you can go back with the receipt and coupon and they will give you your money back for the coupon… so nice!
