BAR 1650

I stopped on my way home tonight to watch the NBA Finals and get something to eat. It was my first time here. The place is very nice on the inside with lots of space. I should have know something was not good since they only had a handful of customers. I ordered my food and started watching the game. After about 20 minutes I still had not received any food. After the bartender stopped having shots with those few «regulars» at the end of the bar I was able to get her attention. I asked if she could check on my food order, and she responded with «Was that yours?» There was nobody else in the bar except me and her regulars. I got my refund and left. I will not return, which is a shame as the place looked like it had a lot of potential.

I like this place. They have good drink specials and they always have great bands playing. I went here to see Guttermouth and had a great time. I’d like to come during a regular night because there are pool tables and shuffleboard in here that I’d like to play. Unfortunately these were pushed to the side during the show. But that’s OK, I’ll be visiting again!

Been looking for a great local spot for a while and Bar 1650 did not disappoint. Brought a crowd of about 20, and everyone had a good time. Friendly bartenders, strong drinks, great lounge area, and nice looking atmosphere — chill vibe. Manager was very accommodating and the customer crowd was cool. Will definitely be back.

«I love this bar» !!! I have been coming here for a few years now… it’s like «cheers» for me… they have live music and hot bartenders ! I wish my name was laminated on the bar like some of the regulars the come here.lol. highly recommended good food and cocktails.

Stop by today for a drink on my way home the 91 frwy was stopped. Found this bar that looked like a hole in the wall. Was a little scared until I walked in… Very welcoming! And the best damn nachos I’ve ever had. Oh and if u want a real cocktail?? this is the place

First time here as 1650. Never was in «Racks». I had been in Angels bar not strip plenty of times. Mostly Sunday football.
But this place is okay. It smells okay and the crowd is fine. I have been in more bars than most people and this is good on a Friday afternoon.

I dont know where to start. I have gone to this bar on numerous occasions with friends for lunch or dinner, I do not drink. On each occasion I have gone there customers are so intoxicated they can barely talk or walk and this is at 4:00 Pm so they must of been drinking since the place opened. It is obvious that the bartenders or management do not cut anyone off because they were still serving drinks to people that were easily twice the legal limit. Laminated into the bar top is the names of the local alcoholics, who would be proud to have their name on the bar. That basically identifies who the local degenerative drunks are. The food is mediocre and has no consistency every time it is different so you may order the same thing as previously and it will look totally different. If you go to this bar and you are not an alcoholic you will never want to drink again when you see the local drunks who spend more than half of their life at the bar getting fall down drunk day after day. I have seen the bartenders drink as much as the drunk customers.
I do not know how the authorities have not shut this place down. The owners and staff allow people to leave and drive drunk daily. I have seen people attempt to leave and they are too drunk to put the keys in the ignition.

This place is a lot of fun. They have a new juke box which I think is great, you can play any song you want. The bartenders are all very friendly and helpful and the new menu is reallllllly good. Just an overall fun little hangout, especially on weekends. They have live music every Fri and Sat.

I had eaten here a few times in the past. However, this was my first visit since Bar Rescue came in and changed the place. It is a much more enjoyable bar now. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer. Everything tasted good. The staff and atmosphere were pleasant. They have lots of parking available. I will be back for another burger and beer.
