Using gentle and effective techniques I’ll show you simple solutions for any issue, such as leash pulling, chewing or biting, housebreaking, separation anxiety, reactivity, aggression, and doesn’t come when called.

Plus my programs include my Lifetime Training Guarantee!

History

Established in 2005.

2005 is when my obsession with helping dogs officially started. I had started learning more about communicating with a dog using body language instead of verbal ques, about how dogs were talking to each other and me all the time and I hadn’t even realized it, and about what I needed to do going forward to help me, my dogs, and as many other dogs as possible.

I started in Northern California working in doggy daycare centers, doing off leash hiking with up to 14 dogs, training puppy classes, and helping anyone I could around the neighborhood with their dog problems.

After moving to Southern California I had the awesome opportunity to attend the Training Cesar’s Way workshop, Marc Goldberg’s ForceFree Seminar, and Chad Mackin’s Pack to Basics workshop.

I have lived in Corona since June 2012 and have been able to help many families regain the leader role from their furry little rascals.

Meet the Business Owner

Sean L.

Business Owner

I have been working and learning about dogs and their psychology since 2005. For three years I watched, and read, studied, and helped as many dogs as I could. Over the years I have adopted and rescued 3 dogs, Cindy, a Border Collie/German Shepard Apollo, an American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix, and Cirq, a Weimeraner/Pit bull puppy.

With three dogs, I soon realized that I was really not prepared for all that would entail and I knew I needed help. After contacting a few trainers I had seen on TV, they provided me with guidance, but not necessarily a complete solution.

Eventually I met the right people who really knew what they were talking about, and how to explain it so it was clear and concise. Since then I founded A Breed Apart Dog Training and have been able to help not only my own dog family, but many others to find a less stressful way of living for the both human and the dog. I am certified by the AKC and have received training and certification in the ForceFree method.
