Bita have my daughter a wonderful haircut. She was so sweet and accommodated us with an appointment just hours before. Her rate was very reasonable, particularly comparing to anywhere else in Newport Beach. She a had wonderful vibe to her, super friendly and very customer oriented. Will be back. Happy I found this salon!

If you want the best hair stylist ever, you need to sit in Lois’s chair. She does a fantastic job and is great with colors! You won’t be sorry.

The owner Viet is always accommodating and welcoming of last minute appts. Much needed for my type of schedule. Not to mention he does a fantastic job with my color!

Farra is amazing an hairstylist, she has been doing my hair for over 15 years and is always consistent always up with the new styles and is perfectionist in what she does. Farra your the best!!!

Go to Farrah!!! Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I am VERY picky about who can work with my hair, and with Farrah I don’t have to say a word, she knows what to do every time. Which is nice for me because I get to sit back and relax. I have long, dark unruly hair and she is the only stylist who cut and color it!

BEST PLACE EVER! Literally, they know exactly what to do for your hair and they are honest with you– if they think something will look bad they aren’t afraid to share their professional advice and also provide suggestions! I love my hair colour and style and it wouldn’t be this way if it weren’t for their suggestions.

ABSOLUTELY cannot say enough fabulous things about Ramin, a real professional at her craft!!! My mother and I have been seeing her for years and would never stray. I moved to Santa Monica a year ago and still make the drive all the way back to Orange County because I honestly wouldn’t risk going to somebody else. When I first came to Ramin I had a MAJOR color correction and she fixed me right up. She is a total sweetheart and always listens and gives me hair and makeup advice.

I just had to write this today! Last week after leaving The lab hair studio i got so many compliments on my cut and highlights!!! Ramin you are truly the best, you know color. Ramin is amazing! She has been doing my hair for the last 4 years. I typically go dark to ashy blonde and she has never failed me once. Her haircuts are also on point, no awkward layering and such. As for products, your hair always comes out super soft and flowy. Ramin is the bomb!

Denise is my savior! I’ve been going to Denise for over 2 years now and she is the color queen & nails my style every time. I’ve been trying to grow out my hair since I’ve known her and it’s the longest it’s ever beem! (lots of damage & fun colors in the past). Denise will also be doing my hair for my upcoming wedding, I wouldn’t trust anyone else :)

Ramin at the Lab has being doing my hair now for 4 years and she is the BEST! She takes the time to listen to what you want and is such a perfectionist. She is warm and friendly and makes you feel comfortable, which is definitely a must when you’re in the salon for 2+ hours! I am very picky about my hair color and have had many bad experiences. Finding someone who can do blonde really well without streaki-​ness, too much bleach, not enough bleach, toning, etc. is not easy. Ramin does an amazing job!
Ramin also did my hair and bridesmaids hair for my wedding and I continue to get endless compliments 3.5 years later! She also does amazing makeup. Take one look at her flawless face and you’ll want her to do yours too! My wedding and her work were featured on
as well as in Modele wedding magazine.

I just got my Hair done with Ramin, at the Lab. She is the best. I first saw her work at another salon in Newport Beach. But when she move to the Lab Hair Studio, I was so excited. I love the location and it is a smaller, more intimate salon. I have met most of the stylist an they are all so nice and professional.
I refer my friends to Ramin all the time. She is great with color, and does the most amazing Up Dos. If you are getting Married Call Her! Seriously!

Not many people can do men’s hair… especially curly hair, but Brittany at The Lab did an amazing job! She is so friendly and really calmly did an AMAZING job with hair that other stylists have had a really hard time with. I was referred to her and I’m glad — I truly love the results! The salon is small, and maybe slightly hard to find, but in a great central location in Corona Del Mar, without parking problems, etc.

Denise is AWESOME!!! She’s extremely talented and always happy with my cut and color. Everyone I know that goes to her loves their hair, which is why she receives so many referrals and repeat clients. She’s super friendly and takes time with each of her clients and I have total trust in her skill.

Just got the new brazilian blowout done here and I absolutely cannot live without it.
If you have frizzy or wavy hair that takes forever to dry and straightened, definitely get this done. It’s much safer than the japanese straight perm. I can still curl my hair and when I blowdry it now, i see a huge difference. No more frizz and wavy hair HOORAY! I rarely use my flat iron anymore.
With good shampoo and conditioner this treatment lasted me 4 – 5 months. :)

Heide at the Lab does waxing and facials. She’s excellent. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my brows– (and they are NOT easy!)
