Best pizza I’ve ever had. Have not been there since 2011 but when I get back to Corning CA I will go back for more!

Just having dinner here. Staff is cordial and very hard working. Huge crowd here and so took time to get our pizza but well worth it and certainly not their fault. Big crunchy salad(we shared one). They make their own dough.(I make my own pizza and can tell by watching the process and tasting the result. Good fresh toppings. Also lots of fun because clearly a favorite with the locals. I would very much recommend.

This place used to have the best pizza in town … Now not so much. I always get extra sauce, kind of an Italian thing, got the all meat extra sauce and cheese, when I got home after waiting an extra 20 mins. I tried a piece and can’t even taste any tomatoes let alone see any sauce. Doe and crunchy meat oh boy. It’s been like this for awhile now, I keep hoping things will change but they don’t. To bad because the only other pizza in town is round table. Also… They used to tell you 15 –20 mins to get your pie, now it’s 25 and when you get there it’s still not done. Heavy sigh.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. To start off I ordered a Jumbo pizza and it took over an hour. Understandable. Ended up getting an extra large shoved in a Jumbo box. Still I wasnt upset. Then they forgot my two 2 liters. I still wasnt mad. Driver(who drives an old white saturn) said he was sorry and would be right back. I still tipped him $ 6.00. Then after about an hour waiting on my soda I called Marcos and they said that I never ordered soda. I told them I had my receipt and then explained to them that the driver even admitted the mistake and said that he would be right back and did not return. Then they said the driver told them that wasnt true. Basically calling me a lier. They told me all they could do was give me a coupon. I explained to them I didnt not want a coupon because I would never be giving them my bussiness agian. Never in my life have I ever had to deal with such unprofessionalism. They were rude, snappy, and honnestly dusgusted me with their customer service and the way they did bussiness, and I am a very easy going understanding person. Tonight was pure insanity. Never agian Marcos never agian… If I could give a zero star rating I would.

We love Marcos. Great Pizza, we like the Ankle Breaker and their Italian salad. Always consistent.

Like the food but every time we order over the phone the person we speak to is in hurry I have to hurry my order and they sound annoyed to write down more than one pizza. Again pizza is okay but they need a crash course in customer service.

Haven’t had their food in a while. Came in with a group of six this evening and the pizza seems to have gone downhill. Toppings taste bland, especially the sauce. The crust is too thick at the edge and nearly non-existent elsewhere. The slices keep falling apart when we take them off the pan. You just end up eating a pile of slop with a fork. Disappointed as their food has always been decent. The place is also completely empty except for our group. On a football night. Might not mean anything, or it could be telling.

Pizza is good, I suggest taking it ToGo back to your hotel. Or a park. Building is very dirty, tables, windows, floors, bathroom… Popular place to sit around with a pitcher of beer. Conversations between customers and staff are not appropriate for the ears young children. So I guess it just depends what you are looking for.

The food here is delicious. The best in town. I love the sandwiches, and the pizza sauce has a delicious kick.

I grew up in Corn-hole and miss Marco’s pizza so much. It was nice to take my niece and nephew there when I was visiting. They had a great time playing the games(being kids) and we enjoyed our yummy pizza afterwards. We love Marco’s. Incase that wasn’t clear. One request… Please have a slice for me! ;)

Our hotel front desk recommended Marco’s for delivery. The good: the pizza was awesome. We got the Combo with Dude crust and it was great. The delivery guy was nice. The bad: the girl who took my order(for delivery, mind you) didn’t ask for my name or my number or my address and hung up after taking my order in typical bored teenager voice. Fortunately, I had said the name of the hotel at the beginning of the call. Fortunately, we thought to tell the hotel front desk that if a mystery pizza showed up it was ours. Fortunately our hotel was AWESOME enough to direct the delivery guy when he showed up.

Food was pretty good. Basic burger, my husband loved it because they used cheddar not american cheese. Salad was ok, lettuce seemed old and wilted. Pizza was fantastic though, perfect crust! Tasted homemade like someone really put some love into that dough and sauce. It’s an order at the counter kinda place although that is not very clearly marked. Basically took a shot in the dark because we needed to feed the kids on a road trip and it turned out pretty well.

I live in this town and it’s the best you’ll find here. If you are traveling on I5 it is a good stop for lunch as they sell slices/salad. 7 – 10 dollar range out the door. If you’re looking for fine dining, you need to keep on rolling, Corning has nothing of the sort :( Delivery is free!

My favorite pizza place in Northern California as I was growing up and still is. I always order the XL pizza with Canadian Bacon, Mushrooms and Olives(my personal favorite). The Combo Pizza is always a good choice as well. If you’re in the mood for something lite their salads are good as well. And if for some reason you’re coming to a pizza place not wanting pizza the burgers or meatball sandwiches are amazing! Always a mandatory place for me to stop at when I’m back home visiting. It’s locally owned and they have strongly supported the small town community ever since I’ve been coming here! Enjoy the food!

Good pizza but the place needs to cleaned big time. I don think it’s been really cleaned in months. Tables, benches and windowsills need to be really cleaned. Next time I think I’ll do take-out!

We were in town visiting family and we were staying at the super 8 motel. The warrior playoff game was on TV and we decided to watch the game here and order pizza. They have 3 seating areas and 3 large screen tvs. Looks like a regular pizza joint. I saw a poster of Widmer hefeweizen and got excited since that’s my fav beer. We ordered a combo pizza and I ordered a hefeweizen. They didnt have any. They only carried pale ales, coors and coronas… a lil strange but ok. The pizza was delicious though! Great sauce and the cheese was nice and gooey. Service was good too. They checked on us and were prompt in their service. I’d definitely would come back when in town again.

seems like there always has to be a naysayer about a certain place and this time it is me. I found the dinning room tables feeling greasy, the floor covered in mud, the noise level terrible, the employee’s smoking outside the FRONT door, the help not wearing hair nets, the professionalism lacking(we were not treated well when we were asked to sit down and make our selection when the people behind us, who had a lot of questions standing at the order counter, were allowed to order without sitting down. That would sometimes be OK since we were a party of four with kids, but when we quickly decided what we wanted we were ignored while the other party was ordering AND the order-taker kept upselling them as we waited! Forget that we said and we looked around the joint and decided it was disgusting and we took the pie to go. I liked the food, though, but I do not give DIVE places a 5 and the people doing so are un-enlightened. Oh, the last thing that really turned me off was overhearing the order-taker-in-charge dissing the local Round Table. Bad form to say the least, and at most they could learn a few lessons from a successful chain. In the end I would take Round Table over this dump any day. OH, and this is NOT a family place if your kids are under 16. Local drinkers watching motocross, who were young and I must say not impolite, were the main clientele. Just an FYI

Corning, California, is one of my regular stops on I-5 in California, it’s about 2 hours north of Sacto, and the reason I always stop there is to buy olives. The Olive Pit has a zillion varieties, and I always buy a few giant jugs of them to tide me over until the next time I zip through there. The store is open long hours, but once I arrived in town ten seconds too late, and was so determined to get some olives, I spent the night in a motel there, to wait for them to open. Having stopped there on my southbound leg this trip, I didn’t need to stop there going home, but coincidentally, it was time to stop for the night, and Corning was as good a place as any to get a cheap motel. I found it, and it was packed full of coyotes and illegals, coming and going all night in vans, but perusing the restaurant literature in the room(which was astonishingly clean), I saw a flyer for Marco’s Pizza, and figured I would get a pie to go, enjoy it in the room, have something to write about. I took the flyer to the car, to get the address into the Tom Tom, started the car, looked up to back out, and saw the Marco’s sign right next door to the motel. Duh. That was easy. I ordered an All Meat pie, which at Marco’s includes more than your average pic-i-nic basked pizza, with salami, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, ground beef and linguica. For those of you not familiar with the last ingredient, it’s also known as «Portuguese Sausage» and is a northern Cali topping of choice, many places. After the requisite 12 minutes, I paid for the pie($ 18.15 for a 14) — Marco’s also offers a 16 and 18, and hobbled back to the room. The pie was a medium thickness on the crust side, crispy at the rim, and chewy towards the middle. «Hang» was substantial, and toppings did plop in the box, and you know how much I hate that! It’s a good slice to do a Manhattan style chew tho, if you’re into rolling your slices. I liked the toppings, should have ordered double cheese, but all of the pork products had great flavor and texture. I’ll go back, on my journeys. I just tried to see if they had a website, and most links lead to a small chain of the same name, but I don’t think they are affiliated.
