Quinn Nails

I had my first mani-​pedi here today. Quinn & Ann did a fabulous job. Quiet on a Monday morning. I will be back!

Such sweet ladies that really take their time and do a meticulous job! Been here about 3 times now and have not been disappointed.

Small place in an older strip mall. Less busy, so they have more time for you instead of rushing to the next customer. I’m pleased with the results!

Quiet and relaxing place, the BEST nail salon I’ve found near mooresville since I moved here from south Florida. they did a new set of acrylics for me and they are PERFECT. My new go to nail salon.

Second visit. Love my nails. Ann did a great job on giving my nails the oval shape that i asked for. Took her time in doing my nails. Definitely going back for my fill… First visit had gel manicure with Mary. She did a great job. I recommend this place to everyone.

I had a very pleasant experience with Quinn Nails this week. I came in as a walk-​in and needed my raggedy gels removed and replaced within an hour. Ann, who is clearly a seasoned nail tech, made it happen. There was no nail wheel so it was hard to know what color I was really getting from the nail polish bottle though.

Quinn and her staff are very pleasant and sweet. They always remember my name and ask me about my mom and grandma (also regulars).
I’ve had pedicures all over Boston, New York, etc but when I come home I always go to Quinn’s because they last so long and the ladies have great attention to detail. I strongly dislike spending more than 45 minutes getting a pedicure and Quinn’s has a great balance between quality and speed.
Great and cheap eyebrow waxing as well. I’ve never had my eyebrows walloped thin here, and it doesn’t hurt as much either. Really hate when I’m not in Davidson and need an eyebrow wax!

Overall, I must say I had a disappointing experience here.
When I walked in, there were only two ladies working, each had a client with her. When I told them I needed a polish change, they looked around as if to suggest «can’t you see, there’s no one here to help you.» Then one of the ladies told me to pick out a color and wait.
Their color collection is really lousy. They have very limited shades and the ones they have are mostly pinks, reds, and oranges. I wanted an opaque white to layer a sheer glitter over, but they had none! The only whites they had were sheer, which was really disappointing. I picked out a sheer and told her to put down two coats of that and a blue glitter over it. She did a really bad job. She didn’t polish or shape my nails till I asked her to (doesn’t a polish change include that?). Then she left jagged edges until I pointed it out to her and asked her to smooth it out. The whole nail painting process was really hurried, wherein she herself smudged a part of my top coat and left it unaddressed. The rest of my nail color took forever to set because she never let the coat underneath dry before putting on a layer over it.
Lastly, these guys don’t have UV lights so I had to sit with my hands held in front of the fan for 40 minutes, and I’m not even exaggerating!
I will never ever go back, even if the $ 6 polish change rate sounds very appealing.

Love this place! It is priced fantastic. The ladies are so so nice. They remembered my name and also my 3 year old’s name who comes with me. They have my business forever! Give them a try :)
