History

Established in 2005.

Our business was founded in 2005 on the premise of creating a dental practice with a focus on hometown values, attention to patient relationships, and becoming an active part of the community. Continuing our educational efforts is also a core value of our business. We are continuously improving our skills and learning the latest techniques in order to give our patients the ultimate in dental care.

We began our journey by securing a historical building just off the Cornelia square and performing a complete renovation. Bringing to life the beauty in the original details of this building while also layering in advanced technology and a new warmth to the space was a tall order. Our office building is now one of the most unique historical renovations the area has seen. We are proud of our place of work and invite you to come experience it!

Business Owner

Dr. Don Cantrell, Jr. is originally from the Habersham County area. He attended Habersham Central High School, graduating in 1997. Dr. Cantrell received undergraduate education at Georgia Tech from 1997 – 2000. After gaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Medical College of Georgia in 2004, Dr. Cantrell opened his private practice in June 2005.

Dr. Cantrell is a member of Eastern Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Habersham County Rotary. He resides in Clarkesville with his wife Kristy and his son Cooper.
