As of the middle of Jan 2016 this Kroger has turned into a completely different store. The bread aisle has moved to the previous magazine aisle and soft drinks are on the previous pet food aisle. The goal isn’t to confuse patrons but to offer a bigger variety of products. I started 2016 off with the intention of cutting wheat from my diet after reading ‘Wheat Belly’ I was so happy when a store worker told me there will be 24′ of gluten free products on one aisle. There are already numerous new gluten free items in the store and several new products from Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free line and a variety of brands of gluten free baked goods, flours and frozen pizzas. There are more trucks coming in with new brands(for this area) and different varieties of brands already being carried. The meat department doesn’t seem to be getting in on the update. It’d be nice to be able to have more choices in this area. More than one cut of lamb would be great. If you have their savings card you can download coupons from and every Friday they offer a ‘Free Friday Download’ item. These items are free and in the past have been for eggs, flavored water, gum, candy, yogurt, rice, frozen dinner and just a variety of things. Since the remodel this is the absolute best place to shop in Alcorn County!

Kroger is probably the remaining earliest national food chain store in Corinth since Piggly Wiggly is no longer around. After the flood of 2010, the new store is clean, larger and better stocked. Shopping here is a pleasure. Produce selection and quality here tends to be nicest in town. Prices are sometimes a little higher, but selection is often better. Kroger house brands are prominently featured. Gas points are a definite attraction for many shoppers. Special deals with gift card purchases often allow multiple points leading to major gas discounts — as much as $ 1.00 per gallon.

Much lower prices than Walmart and they have helped us out to obtain food items that we were asking to have stocked. Still waiting on the Fage Greek yogurt!

This store is clean, big, decent selection, and good service. As I was walking through aisle after aisle and getting what I needed, I noticed the prices were not very good. They seemed to be much higher than other grocery stores in town. Sure their weekly specials were good prices but overall everything else was higher. I made one trip and decided this store needs to lower their prices. Not everyone but a very large portion of people who live here are on help from the government, either disability or social security benefits, therefore all on fixed low budget’s store does not cater to the many people who live in the town. Gardner’s and Walmart offer much better deals.
