Subway

I don’t usually go to Subway, but there really aren’t many good fast food options in this area… I hadn’t been to subway in a while so I said, what the heck.
I see on the window they are offering a summer special BBQ sandwich. Walked in and asked the foreign guy behind the counter, how is the new BBQ sandwich, is it selling well? He looks at me like he’s lost and says pork? and points to it, then says what kind of bread? Oh well, so much for that… I’ll just get a ham and cheese sandwich, please.
I decided upon honey wheat bread, the guy slaps on the ham and my sandwich was promptly pushed to the next guy in the assembly line. There was a black guy doing the toppings, he spoke English and was a pleasant gentleman. I wish subway had Swiss cheese, I like Swiss but that’s not an option here. So i got the plasticky, no flavor American cheese and kept it moving. The cashier was pleasant and cashed me out with a smile.
I had no breakfast and was starving so I proceeded to devour my sandwich in the car, within 8 minutes it was gone. It was ok, nothing great, but alright. I sure wish I had my swiss cheese.
I guess if I get sick of going to McDonald’s or Sonic’s, I willl come here. Maybe I will stop at Kroger first and get some Swiss.
