Fraley’s is fantastic. While waiting for my robot to be repaired(after a rather unfortunate programming error caused it to mistake my cat for laundry), I gazed upon the marvels on display. From the latest in dexterous artificial arms to some good old fashioned tools and schematics, you will be mesmerized by the details and items in front of you. l will definitely be taking another look when I am next traveling through with my bot. Oh, and most importantly, they did a superb job with Hal! I haven’t yet had a chance to test out the repairs at home, but when I produced my grumpy yet incredibly clean cat from inside my coat, I didn’t hear a single«let me clean that for you» or a «I’ll get my iron Sir.» Wonderful!

Gazing into the shop, I was immediately mesmerized. It’s a wonderful combination of make believe and Jetson’s reality. The only thing missing is a small Robot floating in the air. My timing was perfect and a nice guy gave me a sticker and pencil as souvenirs. It’s one of those places that makes you want to change jobs and start working on robots. It’s to bad that it’s in a area where parents can’t bring their kids, unless they are stepping off the plane. It’s absolutely Cool!

There’s something unique and zany at the Pittsburgh Airport. It’s part art, part hilarity, part science fiction. But it may change your perspective and it will definitely give you a laugh or two. This is a perfect place for a robot repair shop, I think you will agree. If you are lucky enough to be traveling through the Pittsburgh Airport, take a few minutes to be entertained and enlightened. Also, it’s interactive art, so be sure to take your picture and email it to the artist, he posts them all.
