History

Established in 1986.

The Family Dental Center opened and started practicing general dentistry in 1986. Since then we have added a full hygiene staff as well as additional doctors, including one orthodontist. We moved in to our current location after losing our 5^th Street office in the flood from 2008. Rebuilding allowed us to choose state of the art equipment, including digital x-​ray, as well as many other features that make your visit here pleasant and patient friendly. Our staff of 23 is here to serve you with integrity and skill.

Business Owner

Dr. Greg Gilbaugh graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1985, completed an additional year of residency and opened The Family Dental Center in 1986. Dr. Gilbaugh performs all aspects of general dentistry, as well as the role of mentor to the other professionals in the practice. While at home, his large family of nine children, as well as church and community commitments keep him running at full speed. Dr. Gilbaugh enjoys a good book and a hot cup of coffee whenever he can find the extra time.
