One step above Fantastic Sam’s.
I needed a haircut badly before a long term vacation, but my usual stylist (at another salon) is hard to get appointments with on short notice. I love Surface hair products, so I thought this might be a good salon. Not so.
Erin had only scheduled 25 minutes for my appointment. (My usual salon schedules 1 hr 15 min.) She rushed through the shampoo, and the water was cold. She gave me the most BASIC haircut I’ve ever had. Literally just cut 2 inches off everywhere and that was it, no shaping or layers to speak of. The best part was the blow dry. I expect a blow out after haircuts, I thought it was standard when a haircut costs more than $ 50. Not so. She didn’t even use a brush and my hair was still damp when I left. I had to go home to fix it before I went to work. I also thought it was standard to do a few touch ups after the blow dry, since wet hair hangs differently than dry hair. Nope.
Would not go back, not even for products. I will order surface online, instead.

I have been going to Erin for years and love the magic she does to my hair! When it comes to Blonde Highlights I am very picky and Erin knocks it out of the park every time!
