I always liked Connie, does anyone know where she went after the Salon closed?

MIKO SALON-​CORAL SPRINGS
This is the only bad experience I have ever had in a salon.
Immediately AFTER product was applied to my head, I was informed by the receptionist that the price would be doubled to over $ 300 and not the $ 175 that we had agreed upon. You know the old game… «you have a lot of hair… it takes a lot of product…»
Really? It’s the same head of hair I walked in here with that you assessed and quoted me a price of $ 175 just twenty minutes ago. When I politely pointed out that this is unethical practice, my hair process was shortcutted. The bleach was taken off so soon that even after several toners, I still had orange hair with blue and green toner streaks (see photo) My scalp was bleach burned. After over 3 hours of this hell, I was berated and bullied by one of the salon staff because I began to cry.
This is the most hostile and unprofessional environment that I have ever seen.
The salon manager said «no refunds» and would not provide an intelligible name of the owner which sounded something like «Mujeeb.» He wanted me to come back to do another process. Noooooo… Another process on a burned scalp ?
Do not be fooled by the fancy ad. The great reviews for this place are old and mostly for the MIKO DAY SPA. Take a look at the licensing status of the MIKO DAY SPA on
. MIKO SALON has a seperate license from the DAY SPA. In it’s day, when owned by Miko Liu, this WAS one of the good salons. The old staff is now working in other area salons.
In the pic, my hair is being assessed by the staff at another salon to assess the damage done at MIKO. I have already spent over $ 200 to begin to repair the long term damage.
If MIKO Salon has any rebuttal to refute ANY of my claims, I would be more than happy to post more dated before and after pics, my receipt, my call logs, their state of FL license numbers and current status etc. Modern technology is a useful tool at times like this. Don’t be bullied. You can report your claims to the FL Board of Cosmetology, file a small claims case and inform channel 10 news.
Before I close, I do want to say that one of their staff, Neija, is a sweet and wonderful person. She tried to assist but seemed to be outnumbered in a room of bullies. Thank you Neija.
I would suggest that the current mystery owner of this salon uproot and eradicate the cancerous staff that exists in the skelectal remains of what was once the MIKO SALON of Coral Springs.

Had the worlds worst hair color and cut … the person who did my hair said she was new to area from NYC. As she was putting on hair color she told me she was just finishing her hours to get her license in FLA yikes !!! The rest of the staff was rude especially the receptionist. Who told me my Group on would not allow me to have my hair done by any of the experienced stylist.
Should have asked for my money back and run out. Little did I know I would get some one that was not even licensed yet.
This place is horrible stay clear !!

New owner knows NOTHING about running a salon. All the experienced stylists have left (including Carl, who I loved!) and there is absolutely no regard for customer satisfaction. I had a customer rewards card — they stamped it every time I came in for a cut and color — and I earned points toward things like manicures and pedicures. The new management has decided NOT TO HONOR THE REWARDS CARDS any longer. So, all the money I spent, all the stamps on my card are worthless. All on a whim. What a way to lose business — starting with mine!

Change in management, came in and told her I Unilocaled this place before and had a great experience and left unhappy, the hair stylist, did not listen to what I wanted, she wasn’t even nice, actually she never introduced herself. When I told her I didn’t like it, (the color looked great at roots and ashy and dull and ugly on the bottom) she said to take it up with management and argued with me and my mom who was keeping me company. Legit told me to go to another salon. The new manger tried to talk to her and she insisted on saying she did her job right. Max fixed the situation with highlights but the ends were effed up so my mom layered off some more. Does this look like a 200 $ job? Hell no, won’t be back that’s for sure!!!

Unprofessional business practice. They advertise and sell Groupons, but I went in after purchasing Groupon and was told they no longer accept Groupon. But they are still selling on Groupon according to Groupon. Very unhappy

Love all the energy and down to earth atmosphere of this salon.
My pedicure was relaxing and lasted for weeks. Plus they have amazing product selection. Love this place!

Miko sold this Salon and it has quickly gone down. I had an appointment with my stylist and they called to tell me she couldn’t see me and asked me to see someone else. I said no, I’ll make another appointment with my stylist, they told me she was completely booked and I can go to another sytlist for 50% off. I had been a customer of this Salon for many years. They didn’t have the decency to tell me that my stylist was no longer there, and if I’d like to go to someone else. They just lied and told me she was booked up. BEWARE customers. The salon is no longer owned by Miko and the new owners have no idea how to run the place or treat customers.

I received a call from the salon owner’s today expressing their concern and regret over my experience 2 months ago at Salon Miko. I was offered a generous discount of 50% off on my next visit as well as a recommendation of another stylist.

Love this salon! Victoria is my hair stylist and always does a great job! She have been lightening my dyed jet black hair lighter and it always turns out awesome! I get so many compliments every time she dyes my hair. On my last visit, about a week ago, she gave me a new style haircut and it’s great!!! She also did a an ombré on me last March and it turned out great! The salon is well organized and very clean. Love the salon and Victoria’s work!

Found this salon by accident, only wish it was sooner! Debbie gave me the best pedicure I’ve ever had! She even painted on beautiful flowers on my big toes for free. My daughter had Tammy, and she also did a beautiful job! I am on week 3 and no chipping or wearing off at all. They gave us each a cookie and offered coffee, tea or water. The salon was busy and decorated nicely, and the whole atmosphere was bright and cheery. I recommend the 1 hour pedicure. We ended up getting our eyebrows waxed with Connie – she did a wonderful and thorough job too. Can’t say enough about this place – kudos :)

I don’t live in Coral Springs anymore, but when I come down for vacations or special events I make sure to get my services done at Miko’s. I have had a virtually painless full leg wax, a flawless blow out and gorgeous gel nails that lasted well over 2 weeks. I would highly recommend this salon!

STAY AWAY!!! Went to this salon to gel a gellish manicure and the girl who was doing me was in the middle of a pedi, had just massaged a womans feet and came over and started placing remover on my nails without washing her hands in between, full of toe stuff on her hands. GROSS!!! Said something to front desk immediately, they didn’t say too much. HOW DISGUSTING!!!

I got my hair done here by one of the senior male stylist. He is fabulous and I love my hair! I don’t know what I want, but he recommended a style that suits me and he did a good job. The place is packed so make sure to make an appointment. I originally just want to do my mani-​pedi but it is fully booked so I decided to get a haircut while waiting for nail techs. The pedicure is bliss, a bit of scrubbing and massage too. Price is okay for the area. I used to do my nails in Hollywood area and it is cheaper, but then again I guess it depends on the neighborhood. Overall experience is good.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and professional, and they use high quality products. I frequently make appointments with Connie, an esthetician, and she always does a wonderful job! I will definitely continue to use this salon and spa for all my beauty needs!
