Publix Super Markets

Place needs to hire someone to pick up trash in and around the entire parking lot. What a turn off walking in with garbage swirling around and within all landscape. Then you look over and the cart kid «Jean» is sitting on the handicap cart surfing on his phone. Would not take much to make a better impression — that’s simple stuff Walmart is losing on. Aka — give a shit.

Shopping at this location has always been a positive experience. However there is an issue that needs attention.
This store employs young people on the autistic spectrum which is wonderful. Recently when I was on the checkout line, I observed that an individual who directs the checkout operations was sarcastic and condescending toward one of these young men who was bagging. He had misunderstood her directions due to his literal interpretation of her orders. This was upsetting to me and to another man on the checkout line. Obviously this area of the store is in need of oversight.

Nice staff people, they let you return things if you tell them the reason.
If you need help, they are willing to help.
At the deli, you ask nicely to try a very small piece, they will let you.

It truly is a pleasure to shop here; I’ve never met a Publix employee who didn’t seem to enjoy the work they do. And like all the other Publix supermarkets I’ve been to, the store is clean, and the employees are always eager to help. I don’t mind spending a little extra money to shop here.

Do you know how much you weigh? Well before you get a ton of junk food why don’t you use the free weighing machine near the entrance of almost every Publix location!
Compared to the multiple Publix locations I have been to, this is by far my favorite. I really like the location between Parkland and Coral Springs and it’s convenience and distance to the sawgrass expressway. Things I don’t like as much: produce prices are high, I don’t see many employees around to find things I can’t find. Rather go to a local fresh market.
Things I like: I like their pharmacy department and how prescriptions are made in a super fast way. The store is clean and I like their aisles and how they are not super crowded etc!
Overall, I do make my quick errands to this location but I do not buy the bulk of my weekly groceries.

This Publix is one of the most expensive locations for the company. I don’t know the reason but every time I go to this location the prices seem to have gone higher. Now I don’t know the exact reason but I can only speculate. Maybe because of its location next to 2 country clubs they believe that they can charge higher prices and make more profits might be one reason. The second might be that Walmart is across the street and they can’t compete on pricing so might as well charge top dollar and people who don’t want to go to Walmart because it is super busy might go here and avoid the rush and be prepared to pay more.
Now besides the pricing issue once in a while they do have the buy one get one free special which provides a certain value.
The bakery area sells deli sandwiches which are usually better than the subway location in Walmart and the cakes are very good so it’s not all that bad.
Also this location is very clean as usual which most publix locations are and the management is very helpful if you need help with any issues.

This is my favorite grocery store. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you find anything you need. The food is always fresh. The cashiers are efficient and able to deal with even my heavy coupon load.
If you need a liquor special ordered the Publix Liquor next door is very helpful.
I can’t name a single bad thing about this Publix. I actually live closer to 2 other locations but prefer to drive here.

If you want the best produce around, go see Joe C. in produce! He will help you with the freshest produce around. The store itself is very organized and the staff is more then helpful. Nicest Publix I’ve ever been to

This Publix right next to the office is like the Publix mecca, clean, huge organized, fresh, everyone is nice. Sub station is efficient, huge variety of produce and Publix Liquor right next door is convenient as well.
