I used Intertrads to translate some marketing brochures for my company, as we don’t have the time to do our own translations. I also wanted to use«more proper» Spanish in our materials. Intertrads’ translations on the whole were good, but with some glaring issues. Some of the sentences were completely nonsensical both to two native Spanish speakers and myself. We put the English sentences into Google Translate to see what it would suggest and lo and behold if it isn’t the exact same nonsensical translation. My guess is they were having issues with some of the sentences and just used Google Translate for the translation. Noelia’s attitude to any of our changes was very condescending and contrary. Many of our changes to their translations were due to our preference or that some words were better suited to our industry, but some of their translations were obviously wrong(suspect Google Translate) even to me with only a couple of years of Spanish education. I would have given them three stars based on their translations, but due to Noelia’s poor attitude I could only give them one.
