Established in 2011.

I started Connecting, Inc. after I retired with more than 30 years of experience in the field of education. I sincerely wanted to continue to help parents and teens. The original purpose of Connecting, Inc. was to provide skills for success coaching for preteens and teens who find social skills challenging. I provide a 10 week comprehensive program for skills for success which addresses meeting and greeting people, relationships, conflict resolution, dealing with anger issues, and interviewing skills to name a few. I soon discovered that parents and teens were concerned with academic success, as well. I added academic coaching to my list of services last year. I access each child’s learning style and present him/​her with the best study techniques for that particular learning style. I also provide parental coaching. All coaching packages can be customized to meet the needs of my clients.

Business Owner

I am an educator with over 30 years experience in Broward County Schools. I was the coordinator and teacher of conflict resolution and mediation through the peer counseling program at the high school level.

I am a graduate of FAU with a BA in Spanish and a minor in French. I hold an MS from Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership. I am now a certified life coach for adults and teens.

I enjoy continuing to help teens in the area of social skills, as well as academics. I am a «Skills for Success Coach» for teens and a life and parenting coach for adults. I specialize in teens are shy or lack confidence in social situations. I help teens and adults meet their goals and realize their potential. I also tutor all levels of Spanish, French and English as a second language. I volunteer in area schools as well as a local nursing home to give back to the community.
