Our expertise is in paging systems and structured cabling solutions based upon Cat.5E, Cat.6 UTP, and fiber optic media. As a standards based company, we adhere to the strict guidelines set forth by the Electronic Industry Association and Telecommunication Industry Association (EIA/​TIA), and by the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), which assures that our installations meet or exceed established performance criteria. As a State of Florida licensed low-​voltage electrical contractor, we follow the National Electric Code (NEC) and all state and local codes as well.

Computer Input is Florida’s premier voice and data cable installation company. One of the earliest State-​licensed low-​voltage communications contractors, Computer Input is a BICSI member and has served Fortune 500 and small businesses alike. From campus environments, to a single move, add or change, we have the expertise to design, install, and support any cable plant infrastructure.

Business Owner

Brian and Doramary co-​founded Computer Input in 1986 to provide data and voice cabling installations. At that time, structured cabling and PC networks were in their infancy, with many components custom-​made. In fact, low-​voltage cabling was not even recognized as a separate electrical trade until several years later, with Brian then obtaining one of the first specialty communication licenses in the state.

Doramary is responsible for all finance, tax, accounting and corporate policies. Mrs. Russell guided the development of a quality-​oriented low-​voltage contracting business which has achieved $ 4,000,000.00 of annual gross revenue earning a position as one of South Florida’s Largest Women Owned Businesses, as published in the South Florida Business Journal. Doramary continually pursues professional opportunities, most recently earning certification as a Web Master and Web Designer.
