I just love this place, my wife and I went there several times when in Miami. It is a very relaxing, beautifully landscaped open mall in Coral Gables.
Plenty of shopping (upscale) and plenty of places to eat. My favorite Yard House is here as well.
It’s just nice to walk around this open space, browse the stores, and have a bite; it’s very well kept and you can easily spend a few hours here. I love it in winter, when it’s not too hot.
Plenty of stores and restaurants as said, mostly upscale, but not snobbish like Bal Harbor. This is one of my favorite areas in Miami and of course my wife could spend a whole day in and out the stores.:)

If you are looking for a one stop place to shop great stores then visiting Merrick Park is the place to go. Not only are the stores great, but the restaurant choices are as well. Most of the restaurants having seating outdoors. You can enjoy people and car watching.
The other great thing about this place is it is open. It is not an enclosed mall feeling where you are trapped in a building. You can walk around and it is very airy. They have nice gardens to enjoy as well!
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

It is my favorite high end shopping center in town. Very well located in Coral Gables. Dining, and shopping is Excellent. Great brands and great ambiance.
I enjoy the valet parking

By far my favorite mall in Miami. From the outsides, landscape, stores, restaurant options, service, parking, architecture and ambience is simply top notch.
The landscape and overall outside common areas are consistently impeccable and in excellent conditions. I love the fact that it is a pet friendly mall, yet there are never obvious «accidents». MP has my favorite stores such as J Crew, Vineyard Vines, VS, Nordstrom– you name it. Service at each store as well as cleanliness is definitely A+.
Restaurant options are my favorite. You have a selection of different options such as, Sawa (Mediterranean/​Sushi) Villagio (Italian) Yardhouse (Traditional American) as well as a few others, including Nordstrom Bistro and Mariposa inside the store. Definitely each vary, and add to the table and to the excellence of this mall.
If you’re wondering, Christmas is by far when the mall looks its best (my opinion). The lights, the massive tree, music– simply outstanding and perfect day/​night out. Without a doubt a mall you can go to for shopping (with a big wallet) or just to hang out and people watch.

This place is really cute! i like the outdoor setting and it has a reasonable array of places to visit.
What I enjoy most is on the weekends they have a farmers market. This is really cool because people who locally produce come here. some of the tastiest jams I’ve.
One gem is actually Nisha’s catering. It’s an indian stand that offers different «dips» and samosas, naans, parathas, and chutneys. Buy this. This is more authentic then any of the restaurants we’ve been to in miami so far!
Definitely a cool place to take family or visitors for a nice stroll, and to shop or window shop!

I must agree with the majority. If you are searching for a high-​end shopping adventure this is the place. I had business near by and decided to drop by one of the restaurants for a drink and wifi. However I was so taken with the landscaping and décor I grabbed my water bottle found a comfy spot and used the free wifi instead of going into a restaurant.

Not just the best mall in Miami but one of my favorite places to be in the world. It basically has everything from great restaurants like Villagio, excellent shopping like Neiman Marcus and of course my favorite Artigiano.
My gym, Equinox is also in the mall with plenty of easy parking in a covered garage.
The mall is located just off of US one on Ponce de Leon Boulevard only a few minutes from my Miami personal injury law firm.

This is great outdoor mall with designer stores, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, various stores for home, baby clothing, accessories and toys, Equinox, Elemis Spa and different eating places to choose from.
If the stores are rather pricey for your budget, at The Village of Merrick Park you can get a cold beverage from Ebar, C’est Bön, Teavana, Enerjuicer found inside of Equinox and go window shopping with it, or sit in front of the fountain and unwind yourself with the pleasing music.
There are many restaurants to satisfy any palate: Villagio for Italian food, Sawa for Asian fusion, Café Bistro found in the third floor of Nordstrom and Mariposa found in third floor of Neiman Marcus for variety, Yard House for casual eatery with great beer selection and Brassiere Central for French food among others delicious dining options.
Overall this is a great place to go shopping, eating, to relax or to bring your child to run around.

I come to this location one to two times per week. Ive noticed a security guard that is always helpful, polite and respectful to everyone. Today I introduced myself to him and just pointed out how great it is to see someone handles themselves like he does.
I might be spelling his name wrong but i will try regardless. Emian should be commended and is an asset to the locatin

If I was in Miami for vacation I would go to Bal harbor if you want mostly upscale.
A variety of great restaurants. I love SAWA and the Italian restaurants. Great happy hour and beautiful tropical scenes. You can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. (Hookah, happy hour etc)
Great to go with kids or dogs and to walk around, shop and during the holidays it’s very festive !

If I could, I’d be a professional shopper. That’s how much I love to shop. If it wasn’t for a limited bank account, I could probably go shopping everyday. Thank goodness I don’t live in Miami, because the shopping center is taken to a whole new level. The Village of Merrick Park is landscaped to perfection. The palm trees and pristine lawns represent why South Florida is so magical. At Christmas time, the village is even more beautiful. There is something to be said about a 30ft Christmas tree in the midst of palm trees :).
VMP offers the standard high end retailers found in most malls in SoFl like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom Burberry, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, among countless others. However, they also have a nice range of standard mall retailers like Banana Republic, Anthropologie, Madewell, etc. There are also great dining options with indoor and outdoor seating (Crave is a favorite of mine).
When we happened to be there, they had a live band playing, people were dancing on the lawn, and simply enjoying life on a picture perfect day. Throw in some fabulous shopping and what more can one ask for?

The Village of Merrick Park is already my favorite shopping area in Miami! Even so, I know I’ll love it even more when I can afford ALL the pretty things it houses. One day…
For now, it still fits my shopping bill with some of my favorite clothing stores like Madewell (recently opened), Nordstrom, Francesca’s Collection and Anthropologie. Amid the numerous high end stores and other standbys like Pottery Barn, Williams-​Sonoma, Victoria’s Secret and Sunglass Hut, you’ll also find chichi gym Equinox, a massage place, Teavana, and other businesses that service the connecting apartment building.
Hungry? Don’t expect to find your regular mall food court. Yard House, CRAVE, Sawa, Villagio and newcomer Brasserie Central are some of your options. If you’re in need of a nice but quick lunch, Nordstrom Café Bistro might be your best bet.
During Christmas time, they have a pretty tree lit up in the center. During other seasons, they bring in live music for concerts on the lawn, providing a nice place to take a break while shopping.
Parking is usually not a problem whether you head to the garage or choose to find surrounding street parking.
Word to the wise, it’s not best to visit this place when it’s raining as it’s practically inescapable!

I am rating the Nordstrom’s Restaurant at the Village of Merrick Park:
The staff was friendly, the food (a half salad and soup option) was very delicious and they have a small wine selection. The seating was comfortable. They close when the shopping center is closing so don’t expect late night seating.
Make sure to account for parking which will cost about $ 5, but is available and not crowded and very close to the Nordstroms.

VERY nice outdoor type mall for people that are rich and/​or have money to spare. Many compare this mall to Bal Harbour Shops. Yes, same concept but, this one is obviously newer and more accessible from the interior portions of Miami-​Dade County.
If you’re poor like me or, in the mood for an adventure, Douglas Road Metrorail Station drops you off a short 10 – 15 minute walk from this mall. There is also a courtesy shuttle that sporadically runs to and fro to the mall/​station.
I had never been here and was quite impressed. Although I would never shop here because I is poe, there are some accessible restaurants here for people like me, e.g., Yard House, Crave. You can have a nice meal at these two while enjoying the scenery without necessarily making your wallet bust into tears.
If you’re a tourist, you will approve of this mall. Nice place to walk around getting a glimpse of Miami.

Great place with high-​end stores. Love that they have Godiva, Teavana, Nordstrom, love their café on a 2^nd floor. Used to work close by and came here for lunch every day– really good food! There is also Equinox Fitness on 2^nd floor. Most important, the view is beautiful, looks amazing in evening. This is a place that every tourist would like. Bad part — no free parking and no cheap stores. But if you make a purchase from Nordstrom, they will validate your parking for 2 hours.

The Village of Merrick Park is a really nice outdoor mall in Coral Gables (south Miami area). The stores at this mall are more of the high end type of shops and professional offices in multiple sections on multiple levels in some areas. There is a parkette in the middle and the anchors ere are Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.
This is a really esthetically pleasing mall with ample parking at most times. You have to take a ticket upon entry and the parking must be paid prior to exit at various pay stations. I’m not sure if there are some businesses that validate here or not but the either way the parking is not expensive. They do offer valet parking and if you are driving a Lexus the valet parking is free.
There are a few restaurants on the ground level like the Yard House. I haven’t eaten there, only had some beer but they have a nice variety.

Not your typical mall. It is outdoors, not crowded, and feature really nice restaurants unlike your typical food court experience at other malls. In fact, two of my favorite restaurants are here: Love is Blind and Yardhouse.
Some of my favorite stores they carry include Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic, Anthropologie, J Crew, just to name a few. You won’t find a Forever 21 or Love Culture here… it’s a little bit more upscale for that.
It’s a nice place to have lunch and stroll around.

Always happy to visit. Its a nice, well-​kept, high end outdoor mall. I don’t frequent all the stores at Village of Merrick, but it has the closest Nordstrom location so, in my eyes, its the best! Be sure to validate your parking ticket at Nordstrom. (have lunch there too: Café Bistro!)
Other stores that I like here (that won’t break the bank): Anthropologie, J. Crew, Godiva, Teavana, White House Black Market, and Banana Republic. They also have cute children’s clothing stores like Babycottons. O and Tiffany & Co… A girl can dream about all the shiny treasures in there… as overpriced as they may be…
The restaurants at Village of Merrick are just so-​so. Besides Nordstrom’s Café Bistro and Neiman Marcus’s Mariposa, the best overall one is Yard House in my opinion. It is reasonably priced, has good food, energy, and great selection of beer. The others I’ve tried were Crave and Sawa and they were good but not really anything special. Love is Blind is nearby and I’m looking forward to trying that restaurant soon. :)
Overall, I like visiting Village of Merrick Park. Its really not a one stop shop type of mall, where its loud and overcrowded, but an enjoyable experience. Especially on a nice not too hot day. Enjoy food at one of the (good) restaurants, coffee (Ebar, C’est Bön), chocolate (Godiva) or soft serve (yogurberry), and shop til you drop (not really).
Now if they would open a Sephora and a Books & Books here… :)
