Misha’s Market

They have a great spread here! I was here about a month ago and they have all these delicious samples of cheeses and honey out they were all amazing. The guy working there was so helpful and nice, I told him what kinds of wines I like and he brought me out a sample of my new favorite wine! Perfect place for a birthday or holiday gift.

Misha’s is now more than cupcakes! She opened up a specialty market right next door. In fact, they even cut open a door so you can walk through from the cupcake shop.
It’s a beautiful small store, with charcuterie, cheese, wine, as well as some olives, honey and jams, nuts, pasta and crackers. Kind of like what you will get in fancy grocery stores like Whole Foods or Fresh Market, on a smaller scale.
If you like truffles, you’d be delighted with their selection of truffle spread, truffle honey (and more than one brand!!) and truffle cheese! They have truffle goat cheese (Truffle Tremor from Cypress Grove, CA), pecorino tartufo, and even truffle gouda (now when have Dutch pigs started sniffing up truffles?) They also have pata negra as well as prosciutto.
As it’s a small place, you get great, personal service. Once you walk in, you’re greeted with a nicely arranged display of samples, of cheese, nuts, crackers and honey. The staff is knowledgeable about their products. Harold the wine buyer is wonderful, and his selection of wine is much nicer than what you usually see at big stores. I’m delighted he has a few bottles from Montsant, one of my favorite regions.
While you can pack together some nice things for your lunch, they do not make sandwiches or anything like that.
