I thought that I would be writing a more positive review as an update for this company. After my initial review on Unilocal,the store frantically called my mother several times and told her that my review was false(it definitely was not) and they said that they would of course give her back her $ 500 deposit. Needless to say, my mother’s dress NEVER got made and it took them like a week to return the deposit. It turns out that JULIEHERSELF gave my mom an alias name(Claudia) so that if anything were to happen, I guess Julie wouldn’t be at fault?(WTH!?) Julie later admitted this to my mom during an altercation in trying to solve this matter. Furthermore, my mother-in-law and a family friend also ordered a custom dress with Julie Polanco. While their dresses did look beautiful initially, my mother-in-law’s dress was LITERALLYFALLINGAPART, piece by piece, as the night went on! Oh, and she told me that the seamstress was at her house until around midnight 1 day before the wedding still trying to fix it! Unacceptable. This is a phony business and I desperately urge you to stay away. It is very rare that I write such negative reviews but the people need to know. Please believe all of the other comments that have also been written here. They are all true!

Please do not do business with them. Do not allow them to destroy your memorable occasion and to rip you off. My daughter found a dress at this shop that she really liked for prom. She tried it and was told she could have it fitted and altered to her liking. They made it seem like there would be absolutely no problem, like they knew what they were doing and so we purchased the dress and left it there for alterations. To make this long nightmare short, we were given a run around several times about the dress not being ready, with the excuse that they were so busy that they had not gotten to it. We got the dress from them on the day before prom and it was a mess. The dress was destroyed by the so called professional alterations they did. I have attempted to get my money back, to contact the owner Ms. Polanco who only hides when called or happens to not be there when I go in. They have destroyed my daughter’s memorable moment and will not take responsibility for it or give me my money back.

I would give it ZERO stars, but it’s not an option. STAYAWAY from this place. All they want is your money. They’re dishonest crooks. They treat you like royalty when you make your order. They say that they’ll customize your alterations, they take your money, but what you get is the work of a 5 year old, not the work of a professional seamstress. Shame on them for ruining people’s dreams and special occasions. I can’t make them follow through or make their wrongs, right, but the least I can do is warn others so that they won’t have to go through the same experience, or worse! I did my part. I’ve warned you all. If you still choose to do business there, good luck… but when you get taken to the cleaners, you can’t say you weren’t warned! ! !

Don’t walk RUN as fast as you can from this place. They ruined my nieces prom dress and offered no type of resolution or apology. There are better places in Miami to get your dresses and alterations.

You are absolutely the WORST people to do business with! You make empty promises and ruin important moments that will be remembered! Buyer Beware!!! Do not do business here! 5÷23÷15 To date, you still have not made restitution or any attempts to find a resolution for your shoddy work as well as your complete disregard to call back Sasha Sagastume or even come out when we come visit you at your so called«shop» … More like«CHOPSHOP»! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

After going to a few other bridal shops I came across this place. And what can I say. All of the shops seemed to be having an off day. The customer service was just as bad as the last place my family and I had gone to. The customer service is terrible here as well. No one greets you! No one even attempts to assist you. The laziness and lack of customer service is unfortunate. A small piece of advice for whoever may be running the store, all of your staff should be upbeat and be prepared to assist ANYONE who comes to your store. Whether they purchase or not. Your staff should be attentive and willing to give the perfect bridal experience. You lost a customer by not doing some of the simplest things in customer service.
