Fairchild’s 12th Annual International Orchid Festival

@ $ 25 entrance fee, that is a steep fee. I luckily was available to have a member pass and get in with two other guest for free. Other wise I doubt I would be going, especially when there was one at Tamiami for $ 12 and one coming up in the Redlands for $ 10 entrance !!!
Parking at Fairchild takes patience, the line to turn into the grounds is usually slow, but they do have ample parking (you may have to walk a bit). For the most part I beleive they were not on the cheap/​sale side, but, you could find some that were resonably priced if you walked around and looked. They also had a few food vendors.
It was a nice Sunday spent with my Mom walking and enjoying one of her passions. If not for the free entrance fee I doubt we would have been there.
