Domino’s Pizza

Took almost 10 minutes to place a delivery order for three cheese pizza’s. The employee I spoke with was completely incompetent, making me repeat myself 4 times for each of information I provided.

Tonight, I picked up a pizza and cinnamon sticks. After getting home, I noticed my cinnamon sticks were packed with marinara sauce instead of icing. When I looked closer, my cinnamon sticks were also covered in garlic! The workers initially made the wrong thing, and instead of remaking it, they covered it in cinnamon! How rude…
When I called the location to complain, they asked if I really needed the icing. Um, yes, that’s what makes the cinnamon sticks so deliciously delightful.
Upon driving back to the store, they refused to remake my pizza (even though it was cold at this point) because «nothing was wrong with the pizza.» I shouldn’t have to eat cold pizza because of their mistake!
Save yourself the trouble of giving them a visit. They’re not interested in ensuring quality customer service, so save your money.

I don’t like doing this but maybe this will help others. This Dominos has been one of my favorite sources of pizza. They were very good. they deliver late night. And the pizza tracker is a by all means. But, those are the franchising features for selected stores including this one. Recently This GREAT pizza shop. Has turned into an unacceptable task. I ordered from them last night and I and I watched the pizza tracker. it took I’m not even lying, 1 hour for them to be on delivery which is fine because sometimes they are busy at night and they are next to UM so id imagine they get a lot of calls. but this doesn’t excuse poor treatment. Once It was dispatched for delivery I stood in the living room looking out the windows to make sure I catch the Delivery Driver so i don’t miss him/​her. It has been 2 hours and it has become very late and i am exhausted. At this point i just wanna go to bed. no phone calls no knocks no cars driving by. Driver is still not here. At this point it is 2:35 in the mourning. (I ordered at 11:31PM) so I don’t even want to eat anymore I just want to go to sleep And since the store is far beyond closed I only got a tone when i called. I waited as much i could and i kept my phone next to me just in case i fell asleep and. they could call me. (Which they would usually do) But I would hear my dogs barking anyway and the knocks at the door since i was right in front of it. I ended up passing out late on my couch. The pizza I purchased NEVER CAME. I did not sleep good. I called the store the next day to make sure my order was cancelled and that i was refunded (I paid with a credit card I don’t know if the driver is just gonna sight the paper by themselves this has happened to me at another place i won’t name) The woman put me on hold after what i just told her saying she was gonna check in the back. Another employe then took me off hold and talked to me as a new customer. I had to Explain again what happened and if the transaction was refunded. they asked for my phone number and address about 2 times. NOW THIS IS THE PART I HATE Then the gentleman told me that the transaction was canceled because I refused to answer the phone. You can check my phone log I had NOT ONE CALL from the delivery driver. I thought he might of called me when i fell asleep (which would be like a 3 hour deliver) but no i did not receive ANY CALLS. I was then put on hold AGAIN! Then I was put on with the Lady again. I then asked if I could have a receipt confirming the cancelation of my order. She just told me to check my bank statement to make sure they are not stealing from me. See this is what breaks my trust in a customer/​employee relationship LYING. This isn’t the first time this has happened Ive had them claim that they had called me without showing up and I would have to call the store to tell them to re-​deliver my food. They always forget sodas and when they say ill bring it to you either you are done with your food or, They don’t come back at all. So you have paid for a soda that you never get. I have ALWAYS been a good tipper. I always tip 20% and more when its a late night delivery. I have been a good customer here for years. I don’t know if its a change in management or just a set of new workers. Im not blaming anyone in specific but, This dominoes went form being the most convenient Pizza shop. To now this sad shadow of itself. I love dominoes. so Its sad that it had become a grimy franchised restaurant. If this was a couple years ago I would give this 5 Stars. RIP TO THIS DOMINOS GOOD SERVICE. YOU WILL BE MISSED

The good reviews are from long ago. The customer service is not good here. They will forget your drink, charge you upfront and NEVER DELIVER IT. Save yourself the hassle and order from somewhere else.

Chose another dominos! The manager here isn’t helpful. I saw my friend try to eat wings and they couldn’t bc it was all fat and crumbly. Gross.

I really had no strong opinion about this place until now. I order from Dominos as least once month because I live on campus and don’t have time for regular meals during dining hall hours. The service is ridiculously varied. For the same order it could take 30 minutes to 1 and a half hours. I know there are «busy times» but seriously? I live 3 minites driving away, and the order was out for delivery 20 minutes ago and it still hasn’t showed up. The customer service when I called was rude. I deserved to be rude! I’m getting eaten by mosquitos out here waiting «for three minutes». I already have 8 bites.
Update:The guy finally showed up after 35 minutes.
Earlier this year it wasn’t a problem at all, the opposite in fact. The service was quick, and the guy there (don’t remember his name) was very sweet. I had called about a mixed up order and he offered to bring me a whole new one for free. But now, all I heard was a confusing slurr of phrases tinted with irritation then an abrubt ending without warning. I would be amiss, however, to not note the friendliness of the driver. I understand that he has many orders to fill. Maybe next time though, the tracker shouldn’t say «delivered» when I obviously didnt have my food. I feel food places that deliver should be wary of hungry customers. As they tend to be the most ruthless in social commentary.

It has taken me more than 30 min on more than one occasion to order over the phone. And when I came in today they had one person working and it took 10 min to even take my order and I was the only one in line. The worst dominos I’ve ever experienced. They take advantage of the fact that it’s one of the only places carless UM students can go.

I got delivery from this location and had the worst experience I’ve ever had. I live in an apartment and the driver flat refused to bring my food inside to my door despite my clear written instructions for the building’s call box. He pretended not to understand my English or Spanish and yelled at me for holding him up. He finally complied with my verbal instructions and brought the food up stairs. At my door he swore at me and told me next time I had to go downstairs to him. I’ve never had a delivery driver yell at me for insisting he bring me my food. When I called the store, the manager didn’t seem interested in the least. Worst location ever, they’ve lost a customer for life.

Terrible service when you call.
Waited 15 minutes on the phone to order a pizza and when they pick up they won’t even give you the time to speak, they put you on hold right away.
I ended up ordering online.
It’s supposed to be a fast food place how sad. Hate waiting so never ordering from this store ever again (not the first time)

Great service and timely delivered

I’ve ordered from here like 5 more times since my last review and they have really brought up the service and quality of their food. I am once again a happy dominos customer!

I’ve ordered from this domino’s quite a bit over the years but last night was the worst. I ordered the pan pizza which was undercooked, and the cinnastix did not include the vanilla frosting! Absolutely despicable. Only reason why I didn’t give a 1 star is because I’ve had good experiences in the past but last night was a nightmare

Do yourself a favor and order from anywhere else but here. Incompetence is putting it lightly. They have no customer service skills. After telling me that the driver came to my house and «I refused the order» they continued to be rude and say I was liar. Obviously the driver got the wrong house. After complaining they said they would send him out with the same order, I asked for fresh one because if the delay, they agreed and said 25−35min.
Yeah, no pizza. They shrugged it off and canceled the order! Meanwhile I waited another 45min. No wonder people talk so bad about dominoes.
Just ordered Sir Pizza, wow what a difference!

The worst service of any restaurant of all time. They won’t get your order right and then when you call them they won’t pick up the phone. They are lazy, terrible workers, and will do anything to not work. I’ve waited there personally for up to 20 minutes without being addressed, when I was the only person there. Ordering delivery is even worse because they’ll lie to you on the dominos tracker. This is the worst place of all time please don’t give them your money because it only keeps up the laziness and sheer shittiness of this awful place.

Horrible customer service. They took my order online, refused to deliver it in the dark (to my peaceful, family-​filled street), then told me to come pick it up. Bad phone manners from the trainee of the week. Do yourself a favor and order from Pizza Rustica. Much better pizza and much better people.

The invention of the telephone was a useful tool. One that revolutionized the way people talked to one another.
Flash forward to this place, calling them will not work, matter of fact it’s completely futile. It’s as if time just passed over this establishment and was not gifted the use of of a telephone line. They simply don’t answer your call!
Now onto the pizza, it was not even cooked. One of them came out perfectly normal and then the other look like blood was spilled over it, and they threw cotton balls on top to soak it up. Just an overload of sauce and blobby cheese that did not melt.
The highlight of this was a police officer walking in behind us, observing the scene of the crime he pulling out his gun wanting to arrest me for suspicion of murder… but seriously. A police officer walked in and was cracking up at what they called a chicken hot sauce pizza.
Now I don’t want to give you the impression this was a one an done order. I’ve ordered from this establishment many times and it takes ages to deliver. This time I felt I must warn my fellow Unilocalers of the misery however.

Never on time. Delivery was wrong. Driver was discourteous. Manager offered no remedy. Terrible management.

Andrea, the PoS manager refused to fulfill my delivery order even after I contacted customer service to resolve the issue. Pizza Hut had no problem accepting my business. This location needs a change in management and leadership soon!

They never deliver the pizza on time! The online ordering is easy but it always says the pizza is delivered when it is not. The pizza if frequently overcooked and burnt and there is no practical way of sending it back. Located in the middle of U of M as well as Coral Gables with South Miami a block away this pizza place should step up it’s game.

I was pleasantly surprised with Domino’s new Pan Pizza– if you like Pan Pizza, this one is really good. You can place your order online and add extra cheese, sauce, and toppings. I like to add extra meat (it makes a difference). They also added a chocolate molton soufflé– it’s delicious (not too sweet). I have also ordered their pasta which is good as well. This is a great make-​me-​feel-​good meal at a great price. By the way, their website is hilarious– when you order the Pan Pizza you have a guy who sounds like Barry White advising you of the progress of your pizza and when the delivery guy has left to bring you your pizza. Their delivery is pretty fast, with the exception when there is some sports event going on– when everyone’s ordering a pizza.
