I would NO LONGER recommend this place for botox, or anything for that matter.
Parking and location continue to be extremely difficult. So are things like professionalism and reliability. I’ve been here about 4 times and every time they are running 20 – 30 minutes behind even though I am their 1^st appointment after their lunch break. The guy started saying something about his other patients and I told him I knew that I was his 1^st appointment after lunch (so I don’t feel like he was being truthful with me to start mentioning his other appointments). Then he started saying that his dentist runs behind all the time and «20 minutes is nothing». He also ranted on how my appointment time is not «guaranteed», etc. 15 minutes of lecturing me how it’s okay to be tardy/​unprofessional and I simply took my money back and left.
I’m giving 2 stars because of my previous experiences of when they would open a new bottle of botox — but today that wasn’t the case either. He tried to use an open bottle of botox and the box was not dated — I believe the manufacturer recommends dating the box and for my/​customer benefit — but that was not shown to me. When I asked when the box was opened he said this morning and that his assistant injected him with the other units — but it looked like 80 units (out of a 100 unit bottle?) were missing (I’ve never heard of anyone getting 80 units before). And, I had purchased 36 units so I don’t understand how we was going to get 36 units out of a bottle that appeared 80% empty with only about 20 units left? I didn’t have any measuring devices to assure these numbers were accurate. It just boiled down to I didn’t feel the experience or purchase would trustworthy based upon the stories and unprofessionalism this guy started spewing today.
I thought the sanitation of this place was pretty good too. But last time he handled my cash and continued drawing product with syringes, so I asked him about his dirty gloves and he said he was changing them (even though he hadn’t) and that I shouldn’t speak so soon. Well today he handled my cash again and continued handling product with his dirty gloves without me saying anything. So, if you don’t say anything, he’s probably going to use dirty gloves for the injections even though they will scrape the crap out of your forehead with alcohol swaps to try to remove an airbrush tan for «sanitation».
Today, they also informed me after I got into the chair for injections that they raised their price from $ 8 to $ 10/​unit. No warning whatsoever. This changed my appointment from $ 288 to $ 360 without notice. When I told them how unfair it was to change the price like this after I had already driven there and waited almost half an hour for their tardy appointment, they told me they didn’t care because they’re «just employees of the company» and this has «nothing to do» with them.
Honestly, I am horrified at their 100% tardiness record, no-​notice drastic increase in pricing, no-​notice change of operations between today’s using an open/​undated bottle and decrease in sanitation.
I feel this place did pretty good business at the start to gain clients, but has turned into other similar Miami businesses where they treat you like crap and expect you to pay extra for it!
