History

Established in 2005.

Ben & Jerry’s is an American ice cream company, a division of the British-​Dutch Unilever conglomerate, that manufactures ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and ice cream novelty products. These are manufactured by Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Burlington, Vermont, United States, with the main factory in Waterbury, Vermont. It is best known as a premium ice cream brand, founded in 1978 in Burlington, Vermont by best friends Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield.

My favorite ice cream ever I love that there is a store near my house! However I am very sad that they never have my favorite flavor (half baked) and I am forced to get an entire pint if I wanted the flavor I came for. It’s the best flavor they should really stock it!

I love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, love love love it! The staff at this location are always upbeat, and happy to help and serve! There are so many delightful flavors, I wouldn’t even know where to begin; I’ll just say try anything with Peanut Butter or one that stars Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy and I must have the same taste :)
Can’t wait to go back and I’m happy it’s as close as it is to my house, maybe that’s dangerous, but I’ll risk it!

was excited to get my my cookies and ice cream. but the cookies looked a little too hard. I went with it anyways! I then smelt a burning smell. it was my coikies. I knew they were burnt! I guess the person from the cookie baking shift put out burnt cookies? I dunno. the girls working were super nice and offered me a brownie! Then there was no cookies and cream ice cream. what the heck?! The cute girls working then offered me plenty samples and I ended up picking a great night. Just wish the person from the earlier shift wouldn’t have burnt the cookies and not stocked cookies and cream!

The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is because I know the ice cream has been well in the past. I left the restaurant I ate dinner at without eating dessert planning on going to get ice cream. I arrived at Ben & Jerry’s at 10:50 pm on a Sunday (online and on the door it said the store was open until 11 pm) and the doors were locked and the two girls working inside were flicking the lights on and off. Another couple was also waiting outside wanting to get ice cream as well. After standing there for a minute and trying to ask why they were closed, and annoyed employee unlocked the door and came out and said «we were really busy tonight,» and proceeded to go back in the store and lock the doors. Not sure how at all that justifies closing earlier and denying 5 customers. Horrible service.

What feels better on a hot and sunny day than a cold ice cream? This location is the best! My brother and I both had two scoops of the Hazed & Confused ice cream made with hazelnut & chocolate ice cream with fudge chips and a hazelnut fudge swirl! Yummy! Defiantly stop by this Ben & Jerry’s location if your in the Gables!

For anyone who knows me, they know that I am the biggest sweet tooth person ever!
Every time I would get a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream it will always be chocolate fudge brownie. Which for me is every chocolate lover dream ice cream. It’s just has chocolate ice cream with fudge brownie.
But now I’m obsessed with the Tonight Dough! It has caramel and chocolate ice creams with chocolate cookie swirls and gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter cookie dough. It is honestly so good that I didn’t have time to take a picture of it to post what it looks like on Unilocal

Why is ice cream so delicious but so bad for you!
Ben and Jerry’s perfect little corner in the heart of Coral Gables has the best creations in these hot Miami days.
I have the cookie sundae. Two chocolate chip cookies in the bottom of a bowl, topped with your choice of ice cream (in this case butter pecan), whipped cream fudge and nuts. To say the least amazing! so fulfilling and just right. The employees are friendly although theres usually only one person which makes for a wait at time, that is absolutely worth it.

I’m sorry this negative review had to be written bc I’m going to sound like a bitch but oh well. All I wanted was less milk in my shake so it didn’t taste like I’m drinking chocolate chips floating in milk. I asked for this. I literally just walked out the store and there were two boys working-​class the place wasn’t full. They took their time. All I wanted was a shake with the right consistency-​not a $ 7 milky cream drink with chocolate chips floating around. I repeat I paid nearly $ 7 for this. The reason I didn’t go back is bc it won’t make a difference. So maybe the next person reading this will not make the same mistake. This really pissed me off bc I fought like 25 mins of traffic just to get a shake and WTF is this foolery? SMH cmon Ben and Jerry’s…you guys used to be so much better than this

It’s Ben and Jerry’s of course it’s great. its not just America it’s the Americone Dream. The ice cream could not be any better and if it were the government would make it illegal. there will be no ice cream prohibition not as long as I breath but seriously what makes this store front great are the people. the place is always clean and the employees will make everyone feel welcome no matter the rush. politeness is their middle name and best if all let you sample. any time I’m in the Gables i make it a point to get a scoop. Ok not everytime I’ll need a muumuu just like Homer J Simpson

The service was better than the ice cream!!! I went in specifically for the Toffee ice cream. I was so sad that they replaced it for cotton candy (who does that?). Anyway, I was so sad and Delvin (I think his name was) started offering all the other ice cream flavors that are similar to what I wanted. Still didn’t make me happy enough because I really wanted toffee. He had a smile on his face the whole time and was just the nicest guy ever. He offered me a little sample cup of the toffee bites that he had as toppings for other ice creams. I left with a huge smile on my face because he wouldn’t stop until I left happy. Love that guy, and I will def be back just to hug him for all his niceness. Thanks dude!

I came to the free cone day and it doesn’t disappointed. I try the salted caramel chunk and the cookies and cream. They were so delicious. You have to get it with a cone of course. There ice cream is rich and creamy, and leave you satisfied.

How can an American not give Ben & Jerry’s 5 stars? It’s fantastic.
Usually after a night of eating or drinking our way up and down Miracle Mile, we always top off the night with a trip to B&J’s.
They have all of the staples, plus new flavors each week (or so it seems like it’s every week). The best part is that they let you sample as many flavors as you want. Their waffle cones are made fresh daily so you never have to worry about stale waffle cones. They are open until midnight on the weekends (Fri & Sat).
Just a great American establishment. Real high quality.

Love this scoop shop, each time I go – the employees are always really nice and attentive. They ran out of the new Tonight Dough the day I visted but she told me to come back tomorrow as they were getting a new shipment in. I came in a couple days later, and got a pint to go. Love Ben and Jerrys and this scoop shop!

Ben & Jerry’s never fails what can I say, yes it is pricey compared to some alternative ice cream shops but you know what you are getting and it never fails! Great quality ice cream and very well located especially for me that I live in coral gables and work a few blocks away. We go occasionally when in the mood for an ice cream and do not want to travel too far. Nothing better on a hot sunny day.

I’m a big fan of the funky flavors Ben & Jerry’s come up with. I think this is what separates them from the competition. It’s always a hard decision what to get because the combinations are amazing. We went last night and my wife and I opted for the Chocolate Fudge Brownie on a waffle cone with sprinkles. The ice cream was delicious but the waffle cone was just ok. My wife complained that it was bland and not sweet enough.
