Definitely better than the other mexican place in town. The quality is great, great tasting food. The portions are so-so, I prefer a little more food on my plate when I’m eating out. Their chips and salsa are good, great home made style salsa. I’ve had a few different meals, all have been great, no real complaints aside from wishing they gave you more.

Yummy! Excellent food and cozy décor. Fast and friendly service. The shrimp fajitas are AMAZING, and the chile relleno is delicious. My kiddo loves the carne asada tacos. Top it all off with some flan for dessert! Love this restaurant

Happened by here one day while very hungry, walked in and it smelled pretty darn good! The service was quick and friendly. And that’s about it for positive stuff. The food is once again typical frozen-processed-Americanized-Mexican food. Blah. I don’t understand why 99% of Mexican places choose to serve food like this! I’ve had good-authentic Mexican food and it is nothing like this stuff! What’s with the rice and beans? There are many more tasty and interesting side dishes(and main dishes) in Mexican cuisine!

Looks family run(just speculation). Went on a Tuesday night, decent business, looks like they do a lot of takeout orders. Food came out fast, portions decent sized and service was pleasant but not intrusive. The kids had quesidillas(adult sized), I had the tostadas. Nothing spectacular but very solid and around $ 8 – 10 for dinner entrees that come with rice & beans.

Awful. Ate there a few times only because its the only mexican food left in town. Screwed up my nachos not once, but repeatedly by not putting onions or tomatoes on them. Then proceeded to argue with us about whether or not it’s suppose to come with them or not… and it’s clearly on the menu as such. Pointing this fact out to the staff only led to them to argue with us further. We were in disbelief that they were this ignorant. The staff is RUDE and the food sucks. Worst service ever. Recommend driving past this dump and continue on to either Angels Camp, or Jamestown.

I eat here at least once a week because I work near by. I love the food and find the owner and waiter to be very friendly and efficient. Love there special and their chip dip a lot…

If you’re hungry, need food, and don’t much care about taste, this will fill you up for very little $. But, if you’re hungry, need food and DO care about taste, this place is not worth the detour into town.

There are only 2 mexican places to eat in this very large town not!), but this is the best out of the 2. Their chili rellenos is fab and also the chimichanga’s you will not go hungry in this place. Very friendly and great service.

Small family-run place, the Chili Relleno is a specialty and very good. We often bring the kids and have a great meal for not too much. My wife lives for the Carné Asada Tacos. They serve beer & wine and make a nice wine margarita.
