Great local groomer. John is always greeting us and helping kippy, our socially awkward dog, feel relaxed.
We have one dog that needs grooming and the cut is great. The small dog is there for bath time. He comes back happy and clean! He is the outgoing one!

Wonderful, friendly, and professional staff. Grooming was exactly as described (they do a great job making the initial assessment and recommendations).

We took our dog for grooming and bath and paid $ 70!. We informed the groomer that not to spray water in his ears. My dog came back sick. He is shaking his ears non stop and very upset. We will take him vet tomorrow. He had no problems before we left him there. I really would like to see a video how these people washing small dogs, my guess is with fire hose! We took my Vinny there expecting custom service. Not recommended and never will take him back there. Warning all my neighbors in Coppell, nothing is special there other than bill!

Our dog is 17 years old and has arthritis and multiple benign tumors beneath his skin, making grooming very difficult. He was HATING his previous groomer to the point of having to fight him to get him in there, but when we switched to Cutie Pie Pets years ago, they quickly won him over, and he LOVES going there! They do a great job, even with our dog’s difficulties. The only time he wasn’t ready when predicted was when our dog was having a hard time with his arthritis and they had to let him rest part way through. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

We’ve been coming here for a good long while (since they opened) and are members of Splash and Dash. For the last year and a half, grooming service has gone dramatically down. Our dog comes out looking butchered despite the careful instructions we leave each time. We can’t get the owner to call our cell number when our pet is done, again despite careful instructions. Messages are always left on the wrong number.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. During a regular grooming appointment, they cut a 3″ x 1″ chunk out of the side of my dog, that went more than ¼″ deep. After declaring it an accident caused by the groomer/​tool, the owner went on to shrug his shoulders and say «it is what it is», and that I was responsible for any vet bills to care for him. He proceeded to say the issue was my fault, since there was evidently a matted section of hair, because I wasn’t bringing him in often enough! Seriously???
After $ 200 in vet visits, stitches, antibiotics, pain killers, and 3 weeks of healing… we’re finally at a point that we can take the protective cone off his head to continue healing. I’ve never been so disgusted with the way this was handled!!! I never write reviews… but I want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Three years after my first review of Cutie Pie Pets and we can’t imagine going anywhere else.
You are guaranteed friendly service here and we are forever grateful to them for being willing to work with our dog who had severe mouth issues. Despite his growling and general grumpiness, they worked with him and were successful in helping him get used to people being near his mouth.
Seriously, the groomer at our vet refused to groom our dog without sedating him, so finding people willing to work through this and save us the cost and our dog the physical trauma of being sedated every couple of months was HUGE for us.
Both of our dogs inevitably come home looking more handsome and smelling much better than when we dropped them, and I love the cute bandanas they send them home wearing. They make good on their anticipated pick up times and are quick to let you know when your puppy is ready to go.
We really consider Cutie Pie Pets an important part of our pet family and I can’t recommend them enough!

My dog looks great every time! The staff really knows how to handle dogs, they are always so caring. My dogs are calm when I pick them up and not panicking to get out of the building. As for the cut, I am always satisfied. The staff always take the time to talk to me about the grooming needs of my dog so we pick what is best for him. Call ahead though, this place books fast.

This is the first time I have used Cutie’s pet groomers and I am very disappointed. I see a lot of loyal customer’s comments on here and I’m sure they like this facility because they probably haven’t had better. Unfortunately, I have.
The service is good. The people were very friendly and they had their community service placard on display for all to see. This is why I felt comfortable leaving my pet with them. Everything was good.
Things changed when it came time to pay. The receptionist rang me up at $ 60.62. I kept quiet and paid.
…yes Sixty dollars for pet grooming! My puppy is a chihuahua-​poodle mix, he weighs about 14lbs (20lbs soaking wet max). He’s small. I have never paid more than $ 45 for his pet grooming service. I frequent DOGGY STYLEZ or DOGS DAY OUT but they were booked (always great service, cut, and reasonable price), but Quincy needed a cut today!
His nails are still fairly long (looks like they filed the tips just to say they did) and his hair is less than a inch shorter than it was when I dropped him off. Not to mention, his fur is not soft from the «wash» and I don’t smell the shampoo (which I normally do).
They said they had to charge extra for his hair length. (Understandable) However AS A WARNING if you think you’re paying the higher price for a better cut/​wash, you’re mistaken. The prices are not congruent with their services.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying a new groomer. You’ll save money, still receive the same great service, and more than likely get a better cut!

After my dog got banned from Pet’s Mart, a friend told me to check out Cutie Pie Pets and I am so glad I did. I have a Shih Tzu that absolutely despises getting groomed. The groomers here are just so good with her. I actually live close to Downtown Dallas, yet I drive 45 minutes to Coppell once a month to get Lucy groomed here. The staff is so friendly and they are actually really good with her. Highly recommend this place!

Cutie Pie Pets is great because they call you right away when your pet is finished so you can reunite and enjoy the day!

We’ve been taking our Jack Russell here for a few months now, and couldn’t be happier. Great people, great service, attention to detail. Ours needs the hypo-​allergenic shampoo and no perfumes due to her allergies and ours, and our old groomer always forgot this. Hasn’t happened at all with CPP. Our dog loves them, can’t wait to go.
The prices are, I think, very reasonable. They upcharge for some services, but offer a package deal where you get one free if you buy two, so it works out.
We don’t usually have her groomed, just bathed and brushed, but at least once a year we have a full grooming done, and it’s always excellent.
These guys rock, can’t recommend them enough.

Since rescuing our 7-​year old Schauzer Mozart a month ago we had not yet taken him the the groomer, this was our first time. I have to say, it was a wonderful experience! The owner was very kind and informative. He recommended a few vets in the area and also told us their strengths and weaknesses. We gave him general direction about the cut for our dog… came back in a few hours and he looked so handsome and dapper! The cut was absolutely perfect and Mozart was really excited and happy when we picked him up, it’s like he knew that he looked like a dapper gent! They had food for sale as well as cute little outfits. The prices are very reasonable as well! We will most definitely be loyal customers at Cutie Pie Pets!

I so wanted to like this place. The owner who answers the phone, books appointments and manages the front desk is fantastic with customers. Unfortunately, his grooming staff are not so fantastic with the clippers. One of my dogs came back looking like a child with scissors cut her hair. Her fur was uneven on her body — longer in some patches and shorter in others. Additionally, her otherwise cute face was visibly lop-​sided and really unattractive! Not to mention, I asked for a «rounded» face — they gave me anything but. My other dog came out looking okay, no major complaints. But the bases of both their tails were left scraggly and unkempt. I’ve never had to ask a groomer to please trim the base of my dogs’ tails — that’s a given. Again, I wanted to like this place, location is convenient and the owner warrants customer loyalty with his great customer service, unfortunately he probably should have vetted his groomers more thoroughly before hiring, I’m not sure if the one who groomed my female dog had any experience at all.

I just booked a first-​time appointment for a shelter dog I adopted two weeks ago. I have some reservations because we are so new to each other but with him showing signs of dry, irritated skin I want to get him in a bath and his skin /​coat conditioned for relief. He just had a neuter surgery two weeks ago so he is finally cleared to get wet. I spoke with John at Cutie Pie Pets for almost an hour! What amazing customer service! He patiently addressed all my concerns and gave me some great advice. I hope my puppy is well behaved to pay back the amazing patience and kindness of John. It’s no wonder Cutie Pie Pets came so high recommended from my friends!

I woke up one morning and my dog was a smelly mess! I could not take it anymore so I called Cutie Pie Pets to see if she could come in for a bath. They had an opening that morning and were pleasant on the phone. I dropped my chorkie, Duffy, off at 8:45 and she was ready by 10. I had asked for a bath and the paw conditioner because she is always licking her paws, I was thinking they may be too dry. When I picked her up she was a beautiful pristine blonde and had a cute bandana around her neck. She smelled good and was a happy dog. My only complaint about this place would be it smells like wet dog in the lobby… petsmart and other groomers I have been to don’t have that smell. I will bring Duffy back soon!

Today was my first trip to Cutie Pie. I like to keep my dollars local and with small business when I can. I am not a picky dog owner… In fact he looks like a hippie most of the time. These guys did a most awesome job with Joey. He came out happy, clean, and soft and smelled great. The price was extremely reasonable. I have found my new groomer.

I have an Alaskan Malamute who loves to swim, so within a couple of days she smells like a wet towel that’s been left in a gym locker! Bathing her won’t help if she has the least bit of moisture left afterwards. Cutie Pie Pets is the only groomer that thoroughly dries her all the way to the undercoat.
The owner always takes the time to answer my questions and suggest solutions to grooming challenges. My dog does not get stressed by the grooming, and the staff all interact very well with her.
We recently adopted a poodle from a shelter and brought him to Cutie Pie Pets. They did a wonderful job with him as well even though we had no idea of his behavior history.

What a disappointment. They really didn’t know how to do a «Westie» cut. They said they did, but what I got was a shaved dog. I guess it will grow out but I was going to a show and now that’s out of the question for 6 mos. If you have a «Westie» and you want that classic look, don’t go to Cutie Pie.

We have been bringing our dogs here for a few years now and will continue for years to come. The staff are all very nice and friendly. You can tell they really love animals. Our pups get the full service when they are there (hair cuts, baths, nails clipped and teeth brushed) and the staff at Cutie Pie Pets do a wonderful job. The pups come home happy every time and don’t seem traumatized. I would certainly recommend bringing your dogs here.
