Very mediocre. The spicy fries were either burnt or old grease. The spicy chicken wrap was ok but NOTHING special. I won’t go back.

Wanted to go to the Cooperstown Diner but the wait was too long. Since we were headed out of town and in a rush we took our chances on TJ’s and were pleasantly surprised. Had a good caesar chicken wrap and my two boys had excellent French toast and bacon cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries we’re a little soggy and so was our waitress, but the food was the least expensive meal we had in Cooperstown and of about the same quality as at other restaurants.

After finishing up at the Hall of Fame we were starving, unfortunately the skies opened up at the same time at it poured! We were desperate for some good food fast. After a quick run down Main St. we found TJ’s Place. It looked nice enough, had the whole Coke nostalgic theme going on. The(paper) menu ran the gamut from breakfast to dinner. So we gave it a shot. I went for the grilled cheese sandwich on the lunch menu($ 5.99) and a bowl of chili($ 3.99) with onions and cheese. The grilled cheese was very good, thick bread and came with a load of potato chips. The chili took its revenge on me later. Probably should have passed on that. My daughter had the hamburger which was very average. The service was terrible. We arrived just in time to watch the wait staff count there tips from earlier in the day at a table across the aisle so naturally our service was very slow. We watched our food sit on the hot table in the kitchen for ten minutes while the wait staff brought ice creams for themselves and ate in the service area behind our table. My gestures to the waitress that the food was ready and the server light by the kitchen was on were in vain. I was even more disappointed when I notice that it was the owner of the establishment sitting at the table across from us witnessing all this. I guess in their defense, there is a disclaimer on the menu that said«Have patience — in a full restaurant every person can’t be served at once» but when we ate there were only 8 other people in the restaurant at the time, this was hardly full. No recommendation from me for this one.
