At the Hollywood Eye Institute we specialize in diseases and surgery of the eye. Dr. Greenbaum is a caring, compassionate physician and surgeon who treats patients as family members. She performs customized cataract surgery including laser cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses. In addition, she has specialty training in eyelid surgery including droopy eyelids, blepharoplasty, eyelid malposition and treatment of eyelid cancers and lesions. In addition, she performs all types of eye lasers including lasers for glaucoma and diabetes. She offers in-​office cosmetic procedures including botox and facial fillers. We welcome patients of all ages, both children and adults.

Established in 2012.

Dr. Greenbaum is a board certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing ophthalmology in Florida since 2007. Hollywood Eye Institute was opened in 2012 with two locations, Cooper City and Hallandale.

Meet the Business Owner

Shareen M.

Business Owner

Dr. Shareen M. Greenbaum, M.D. grew up in Southeast Michigan where

she attended the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with

High Distinction, with a major in Spanish language. She continued her education at

Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Greenbaum

then completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at William Beaumont

Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she served as Chief Resident. She has received advanced surgical training in cataract and oculoplastics. In 2007, Dr.

Greenbaum relocated to South Florida with her husband and four children.

In her free time, Dr. Greenbaum is an active participant in the community, and is heavily involved in fundraising for the community.
