The new management really has there act together. Nice friendly staff. Bagels are fresh, and the salads are made onsite. I love the pastrami. Just the right ratio of fat, spice and meat.

I have only done breakfast at this place.
Always a great meal.
Service is always good.
Coffee and food just taste like, if I made it myself.
Owner is very nice.

This restaurant has AMAZINF matzo ball soup but it is so expensive so if u r poor like me I do not recommend

Ok, so… I wanted to give this place another try today. I’m really trying hard to like this spot because it is so close to our house. I want to start with the pros… the service is great. I am really impressed by the attention that our waitress gave to the kiddos and we didn’t have to ask for refills or extra plates. really nice.
Cons– Portion Size is laughable. You can’t operate as a deli and compete with TooJays or even McDonald’s if the portion sizes make you feel ripped off. The pictures on the menu are obviously not photos of their dishes. My wrap was so small that they comped us a side of potatoes to make amends. I won’t be back. There are too many options for breakfast that are a good value in the area that I can’t justify spending another dime here.

It was the last day of Hanukkah, and I was really craving a bagel with smoked salmon. My dad recommended this spot, and it was certainly decent enough; the food was of a good quality, but by no means was it the best I’ve ever had. Our server was very friendly, but the speed of service was quite slow. All things considered, I felt as though the prices were a little steep for what we got.

Decent food. Service was a little off. I ordered the tuna melt with fries and it was average. The food is somewhat overpriced for what you get. Maybe I will try this place again for bagels instead of lunch.

I really wish they had come up with a better name for their business because their bagels and all of their cream cheese flavors are STELLAR. I am SUCH a bagel person, and this place has perfect bagels — chewy, fresh, flavorful… Every time I’m visiting home, I’ll come here and try a different flavor of their cream cheese with a scrumptious bagel or bialy. EVERYONE SHOULD GO HERE. :)

Friendly and quick service in a clean, open environment. Coffee was tasty and refilled often. The reason for the three stars was the specific dish I ordered; good but not great. I ordered the Shakshuka, which (at its best) is a sublime, delicious and filling breakfast dish. Two problems arose with their version. First, The egg was not cooked enough. While the yolks were medium, and correct, the whites were still loose in some places. The kitchen needs to be more attentive to those details. Second, the main item in this dish is cooked tomatoes. The kitchen, however, cut up and cooked the tomatoes WITH the skin. That’s a first year culinary student mistake, and it’s inexcusable at a real restaurant. Blanch them first, and remove the skin. Instead, I encountered hard pieces of tomato skin, which I had to pick out of my mouth. This place has the potential to be very good; however execution errors make it only merely good.

This is a decent breakfast spot.
I like the fact it is very close to my home. However the prices are very expensive.
Over $ 11 for the nova platter when you can go to Blue Moon Dinner and get 2 times the Nova for half the price.
I will stop you’re out of convenience and Would be willing to pay more but other than that it’s nothing to write home about.

Great food! Fast service! Cheap specials! We come in every Wednesday morning before starting work. We usually get there breakfast special which includes 2 eggs, a bagel, a side, and a coffee for 4 bucks and change! Can’t beat it!

Go once a week with my boyfriend before we start work. Good service and very nice and friendly server! She starts to get our coffees ready when we come in and makes some good small talk. Love this place and there breakfast specials!

My search for a proper New Jersey bagel reminiscent of my childhood continues… This is a good little breakfast spot, clean, good service, decent food. Expected a little more from the bagels. For a Florida bagel it was alright. Continuing the search…

What a wonderful breakfast we had at Bagels 4 U. Grest food great price and wonderful service. It’s so nice to go to a local place and just enjoy. Will be going back again and again.

Family operated business strives to give excellent customer service; a business that has great food and deplorable customer service is not going to be successful. This is not the case here they have both – great service, excellent customer service, and delicious food! We love this place! Come and see for yourself!

I have been here multiple times since the new owners took over. In each instance they were out of bagels. In fact, on mothers day, knowing it would be a busy day you would think they would have prepared. Nope, at 10:15 they were already out of bagels. Not just some flavors, completely out! How can a bagel store be out of the very item they offer and part of their namesake?! It is certainly not worth wasting my time anymore, there are too many other options to choose from. It’s a shame, it was a great little bagel joint and they do have great whitefish salad.

Great Little Breakfast spot in Cooper City. We go here for a weekend breakfast. Reminds me of a NY Deli. Bagels and eggs and bacon. The French Toast is amazing. They have a variety of everything to eat and it is so good. My kids love eating there. it is very clean and staff is great. Gillian is always there to serve us and we love her. She is awesome. For a little breakfast spot to eat try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Love this place! Bagels are fresh and the salads are amazing. You must try the tuna and egg salads yummy!!! There is so much good food you need to visit more than once to get a taste of all it has to offer! The owners Debbie and David are so friendly and warm even the staff knows you by name!

Great place, great service, & great food!
I’ve visited Bagels 4 U more in the past 3 months than I ever did in the past 5 years! Not only are the new owners nice & polite, they actually treat you like family! Sorry to say, but the previous owners treated their patrons like crap!
The waitstaff are friendly, accommodating and take good care of you. Even the guys behind the counter and at the grill great you with a wave & «Hello, how are you?». This place now feels like the good ‘olé fashioned, hometown deli & gathering place that it should have been from the start! Way to go new owners, Cooper City finally has an authentic bagel & deli shop we can be proud of :)

Prepare yourselves, this is a long review … please read it all though, I feel it is important to tell people about how bad of an establishment this is. This was a few months ago when this happened so correct me if the ownership has changed.
First off, I used to go here all the time on Sunday after church with my friend because their bagel sandwich was so good for the price. We always got take out before and one time I was there, the cashier was kinda rude, but I just let it slide because they may have had a bad day or something.
So another day, I recommended to a few friends that we should go here for breakfast after church. We sat down, ordered, had great service from the waitress and everything was all good.
Then came time to pay for the meal. So at this place, you have to pay at the cash register after eating. We had a party of 4, so we asked to split the checks. Here is where the trouble came in. They said they couldn’t charge under $ 10 on credit, which is understandable, so we asked if we could just split the meal into two checks instead of 4 so that it would be over the $ 10 limit each. We weren’t even complaining and the manager was just behind the cashier eavesdropping. Before we could even suggest a better solution, the manager was incredibly rude and just kept saying he couldn’t split the check and took my friend’s credit card from her hand and swiped it. He then went on to say that we can figure out how to split the bill amongst ourselves on our own time. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience or an apology of any kind. I could see the cashier was embarrassed at the manager’s behavior. She looked almost scared to say something even, which is understandable because she wants to keep her job.
Anyways, I have never been so mad from a restaurant before I went to this place. I usually can keep my cool if I had bad service but this place literally had me fuming. I felt like steam was coming out of my ears when I left. I felt bad at the amount of tip we left but the only reason we left any tip was because the actual server was not the problem, it was the ownership. This place needs to have some lessons on how to treat people because that was ridiculous. They lost two previously loyal customers and I felt embarrassed for even recommending to my friends to go there for breakfast.
Basically if you have cash or an order over $ 10, then go here, just don’t expect to be treated very well if there is any sort of conversation with the manager, which we didn’t even ask for. I wish I can rate this place less than one star but that isn’t possible on here. Hopefully this doesn’t fall on deaf ears because people need to realize that customer service is the number one way to get people to come back to your business and even a little bit can go a long way.
