We specialize in our pizza. From our traditional thin crust to Chicago style deep dish, we have a variety of items to satisfy everyone on your guest list. Every location has a full bar, large dining rooms to accomodate parties, and take-​out and delivery available. Our Blaine, Coon Rapids, and Rogers locations have patio seating. History

Established in 1953.

Broadway Pizza is famous for its old world flavor in every pizza! John Spallacci brought the recipe when he came to Minneapolis from Italy. From humble beginnings, Broadway Pizza grew & flourished throughout the Twin Cities.

In 1961, Eddie Peck bought Spallacci’s operation & the fabulous recipe. Continuing the pizza tradition, along with his wife Dorothy and mother Mamie in his north Minneapolis neighborhood restaurant and bar, Eddie made sausage from scratch, while Mamie simmered special sauces and kneaded fresh dough for delicious homemade pizza. Eddie’s pizzas quickly became the neighborhood favorite with standing room only at the old Broadway Pizza.

Now Broadway Pizza caters to many neighborhoods, serving our famous award-​winning pizza as well as many other selections including burgers, hoagies, appetizers, chicken sandwiches, salads, pasta & desserts. Kids meals, Gluten Friendly menu, happy hours, delivery, take-​out & buffets – we serve something for everyone!

Does anyone love philly cheese steaks? I do!!! But I wanted to be a little more healthy so I decided to order a ” Philly Chicken.” Here’s what I expected. Sliced chicken smothered in cheese. Grilled or sauté onions and peppers on a hogie or some type of bread right? Here’s what I didn’t expect, a grilled chicken breast with cheese, raw onions tomato and lettuce on a hamburger bun! Wtf. In what world is a chicken philly a chicken breast sandwich? So when he food came I was like I didn’t order a chicken sandwich, the waiters like this is the philly, I was disappointed clearly and didn’t want it. The waiter didn’t offer to exchange it for something else, he didn’t ask if I wanted a refund, he didn’t even make an effort to correct it. All he said was «this is our philly». This tells you just about as much as you need to know about this place.

So for family night, the wife, son, whose 7, and myself were in the mood for some Broadway Pizza, and a batch of wings, while we were watching Gremlins! Ordered the pizza and wings. snd the wait was on! Great, pizzas here said my son. We go sit infront of the tv, start the movie, and hand out some food. Pizza was GREAT, as always. Open the wings, and thats another story. We got the sampler. They were burned, and cold! Go figure! I call Broadway, and ask for a manager. I speak to Valeri, and give her the story. She apologized and asks if i want a gift card, or new wings. I tell her i would like the wings. We were hungry… I called at 9:36pm. Now its 10:20pm no knock at the door. I head to the truck, to go get the wings. The driver meets me in the driveway. He said these were good wings, and i tipped him. It wasnt his fault. I go in the house, open the wings, and the pic is what i got! WTF, these are worse than the other ones! We didnt eat them. I will be in contact with the manager in the morning. This is bullshit! How can you fuck up wings twice? Dont order wings from Broadway Pizza in Coon Rapids!

Ordered our pizza, we got a half and half, well we received our pizza, and the crust was not correct (not a big deal) and one half of the pizza had chicken… Well the chicken was soo covered in pepper that it was impossible to eat, (it honestly seemed that someone spilled a bucket of pepper on our pizza) also half the toppings were missing, when explained to our waitress she explained that it all depends on which person seasons the chicken. Honest to god it was soo bad it was not edible! We did end up getting 5 dollars off on our 20 some dollar pizza that we weren’t able to eat half of!
I will say the half that was edible was good

Went in on a Friday to try the lunch buffet. All pizzas were bland and the pasta sauce was barely warm. Like food poisoning warn. I highly doubt that this sauce was brought up to the proper temperature before it was put out for this buffet. It was thick and tasted sour as if had been put out there day after day. The salad bar was meh. I won’t be back

Not that great.
I went there for dinner with my wife and daughter tonight. The girls wanted to try something new in the NW burbs – they voted for Broadway. I have fond memories of getting home delivery from the original Broadway.
The service was friendly but super slow. It wasn’t very busy for a Friday so I don’t understand why they were so slow.
The Italian Hoagie was boring and flavorless. I could have whipped up something waaay better in my own kitchen. (And I’m not a very good cook!)
The burgers were blah. And the bacon was weird, like it has been sitting around for the day.
The pizza was okay. It was a large thin crust meat pizza.
For the area… next time… I’ll spend my money at Mansetti’s.

Went in on a weekday at about 11:15 for the lunch buffet, despite other reviews about poor/​slow service. Stood at the reception area for about 2 minutes with no service for seating or even a greeting from employees who were walking nearby (they did glance my way, but seemed to ignore me). At this point I decided to try my luck elsewhere…

I have been here several times and usually sit in the bar area. On this occasion, though I sat in the restaraunt area since I had my kids with me. The food here is always excellent as well as the service, but this time the service is not so good. When we got here at 11:30 for lunch the place was not very busy and it still is not, however, it is taking along time to get anything. Even now, I am sitting here waiting for our server to bring us our check, eventually. We have now been here for 1.5 hours.
I am not sure what is going on with the server staff, but they have some sort of double team going on. There have been two servers taking care of is today. One, a brunette is fast and very attentive, whenever she comes by. The other, a blonde is not very attentive and seems to be the one who is holding things up.
Well, I have ranted long enough. I am going to get up and find someone who can bring our check.

I have been here a handful of times. I have always had an awesome experience. We got burgers (excellent) but best of all? Their drink specials! Happy Hour all day EVERY day! A UV blue and lemonade!!! I think it was all of a couple bucks?! $ 2 beer (bottles or tap!!!) such awesome deals!

I have fond memories of the Broadway Pizza in Minneapolis that I recommended we try this place. The lunch buffet seems like a good deal, but we would have been better off trying one of their specialty pizzas.
I have to agree with the other reviews that the service is lackluster at least during lunch. It’s too bad because the other locations have great pizza and great service.
Hopefully they will get on board and up their standards…

While out in MN we decided that we wanted to grab a bite to eat, and based on my wifes recommendation we stopped in here. We opted for the buffet as it was lunch time, but I was less than impressed. Pretty much «meh» pizza and sides and, somehow at a buffet, slow service. I cannot imagine ever trying this buffet again…
My wife does tell me that their non-​buffet pizza is better, so YMMV on this.

Went in for Saturday afternoon bingo. The good about this place is they have really good alcohol prices. However one thing funny is they have $ 3 You Call Its. I was told everything is $ 3 so I was ordering Grey Goose vodka cranberry. When I got the bill I was being charged $ 3.50 and when I asked I was told cranberry juice is an up charge. Seemed kind of sneaky. The service we had throughout bingo was terrible. Our waitress rarely came by and we always had to flag her down to order drinks. She rarely cleaned off our table and we kept putting stuff on empty tables around us. The pizza was OK, but not super impressive for it being what they should be known for. My boyfriend ordered the wings and thought they were terrible. I think if we came back and got a different server it would be a better experience. I will definitely go back for bingo and the good drink prices.

Slow service. Came in at 5:10 and at 5:52 we still did not have our food. Their was a table next to us with a larger party that came in after us, ordered after us and still had their food before us. The server never came back to fill our drinks or even apologize to us for having to wait so long. My son ordered wings and when she FINALLY brought our food at about 6:05, she offered up that she had dropped two of them on the floor, so she would bring a few more out when they were done. No apologies, empathy or anything. This was our first time there and hmmm… no thank you.

Pizza was definitely good. Davannis might have a slightly better pizza, but this place has killer atmosphere and a full bar. Cheap beer and our waitress was awesome.
