Deck Install Pros

We met with the owner James Hinton a couple of months ago when we began fixing up the home we had recently bought. Our decks were in terrible condition and were posing a safety risk so we asked James to come by so that we could discuss replacing the decks. James brought some samples by and we took a look at those. In order to build the new deck we determined that some concrete work would need need to be completed first. James indicated that he works with a concrete contractor and that he would have him contact us. He never did. James never followed up to see where we were at. In the course of having other landscaping work done the contractor we worked with on that suggested a particular concrete contractor (DDK Concrete). We worked with DDK and completed the concrete work so now we were ready for decks. I contacted James and sent him PDFs of Sketchup drawings showing the exact dimensions we needed and asking to get a quote by Thursday (3 days away) for both Ipe and the composite material he had suggested. This was a simple quoting exercise. James responded in email and indicated that he could provide a quote for one of the two decks but not the other. The deadline for submitting the quote has come and gone and we have heard nothing from James. He is unreachable by phone and I do believe that «Deck Install Pros» is just a sideline. I can not recommend dealing with a company or person as unprofessional as «Deck Install Pros» would seem to be. Don’t waste your time.
