Wheeler Family Eye Care

This eye doctor did a fabulous job of taking care of our daughter who is away at school at Tennessee Tech. They have our respect and trust. They promptly worked her in, treated her well, executed our insurance and payments, and allowed her to try out different contacts and then followed up. Professional and reliable in both of her visits.

I have only positive things to say about the staff and service at Wheeler Family Eye Care! Dr. Wheeler is very knowledgeable, but speaks in terminology that you can understand and goes above and beyond to get you the best for your eyes! She suggests everything from vitamins for your eyes to contact solution and even ways to reduce the strain on eyes from staring at computer or phone screens. The place was a little busy, but the doctor and receptionist worked very efficiently to get me and the other patients taken care of in a timely manner without making me feel rushed! I especially recommend Wheeler Eye Care for students and young kids because the atmosphere is relaxed and not intimidating. The last thing I loved about this business is that they treated me like family! They remembered my name and greeted me with a warm welcome even after missing one of my appointments! Poor customer service. Had to wait while the assistant talked on the phone for over ½ hour. Basically we were told she didn’t have time to wait on us. Finally we gave up and left. Called the owner the next day and she offered no apology and didn’t ask us to come back in and try again. We were going to buy ~$ 500 worth of glasses, but now we’ll take our business elsewhere.
