Mindy’s Nails & Tan

I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years. Although, there have been some turnover, I have always been able to obtain a tech that I was satisfied with. Thank you: Linda, Kevin, Karen, Kathy, Helen… I have received service from all of them and have been please… and Mindy herself for the individual lashes.

This was the most horrible nail experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to Oliver Finley Nail School in Idaho and i know how to do nails. These people DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. they don’t even know how to do basic nail art. Not to mention the butcher job they did. They do not know how to use a drill. I saw enclaves there but did not see the instruments being cleaned and disenfected after each use. I’m bleeding on 4 of my fingers because of the nail tech drilling on my skin. Never will go back again. if I could give this zero stars I would.

Normally I am not one to complain or write a review about any service rendered from a business, but in this case it is very warranted. It started with me taking my girls to this nail salon. We have never had a bad experience here before, but this time we did. First, the guy cut my daughter on the thumb. I mentioned it and he reluctantly gave me $ 3 off. I understand mistakes happened so I said ok and we left. When we got home she washed her hands and her fingers were burning on several fingers. There was broken skin on several other fingers. I called and asked to speak to the owner. They told me she was not there and to call back «next week.» I felt that was not true so I got in my car and went back to the salon. At the salon, I speak to the owner who was not there and wouldn’t be back until next week. She went on to examine the nails and offers to give me $ 10 back and some almond. While discussing the situation my daughter’s finger begins to bleed steadily. At that time, I became very upset and requested a refund for her fingers only and not her toenails too. The owner told me in order to give me a refund for the nails she would have to remove them. I have never seen such poor customer service! So I had the nails removed. Before this incident, we enjoyed coming to this nail shop. We will never patronize this business again. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone!

Mindy’s Nails and Spa is MUCH more than a nail salon. They provide facials (WONDERFULLY RELAXING AND RENEWING), waxing (full waxing services), Massages, Manicures, Pedicures, Crystal Dip Nails, etc.
Their prices are VERY reasonable. The facility is very clean, friendly and professional. They are located in the Burlington Coat Factory and Hobby Lobby Shopping Center.
This is the BEST Nail and Salon in the Conyers/​Covington area!
