The Celtic Tavern has been in business in the same location in Olde Town Conyers Georgia since May of 2000. We specialize in hospitality with a neighborhood atmosphere where the locals enjoy a good meal, good prices, great friends, great music and events. Always something happening at The Celtic Tavern.

History

Established in 2000.

The Celtic Tavern was Opened in May of 2000, Memorial day weekend by a local school teacher. It was then in the 918 location only, small soup and sandwich menu serving beer and wine only. Open Mic on Wednesday Nights became a special night at the small Irish pub. In late 2001 they remodeled adding a small kitchen and full service bar.

Live entertainment small one man bands and duos were added to Friday nights and Karaōke on Saturdays soon followed. in 2003 a local coffee shop moved allowing The Celtic to expand adding a separate dining area. The original owner sold in November of 2004. The new owners continued the Celtic Tradition adding a small back patio and promoting street side seating. March 9th 2009 the currant owners took over again carrying on The Celtic Tavern Tradition. They expanded the menu, promoted many local events and entertainment building a loyal local crowd and attracting many new patrons along the way. St. Patrick’s Day is an Olde Town, Celtic Tavern Tradition.
