Audi Conshohocken

If I could give this place an even lower rating I would. I bought a certified 2012 a4 quattro preium plus. Ill confirm the grey haired man who might be a finance manager is a complete jerk. Talked down to me and scoffed at my down payment of 5k cash. He also tried to convince me a 748 credit score was not that good. I asked if my iphone could plug in usb, they said I could purchase a dongle for 60 dollars. I literally just gave them 25k for the car and they wouldnt give me a cable for it. It was not washed, and both keyless entry fobs were out of batteries. This car broke down within 12 hours. It had a year left on the warranty but why take that chance if things are already breaking. No loaner was given to me despite that being in the agreement. Needless to say I returned it and told them to terminate the deal. They made me sit there and wait before I demanded to speak to a manager. Before even getting refunded they tried to get me in another vehicle. I happily went down the street and paid more at the subaru dealership for a nicer more expensive car. I also got a better financing rate. The salesman do not care about what you want they just want to make a sale.

Stop sending your flyers to my house. I would never ever do any type of business with your stealership.

This review is for the service department. I have been there twice to have my Audi Q7 serviced. Both times the service department staff were courteous and helpful. They always called to give me a run down of what was wrong with my car and also what the estimated cost would be. My most recent visit was quite an expensive one and the service department actually gave me a little bit of a discount which was nice. The other nice thing about taking your car to be serviced here is that they do give you a loaner so you don’t have to arrange for rides. The cons of this place are the labor costs, around $ 150/​hr and the assessment fee they charge you which is 1 hours worth of labor. I would rate this place higher if they would drop the service fee as long as you agree to have the work done at the shop. Overall good experiences though.

I purchased a 2009 Q5 from Don Rosen Conshohocken Audi and have always found their maintenance and repairs to be exorbitantly high in cost. Recently I smelled fuel and brought the car in to Rosen for a check, they told me that the gas tank needed to be replaced at the cost of $ 3700.00 and that this might not be the only problem, the fuel pump may also be leaking and would be another $ 1000 for a total of $ 4700. I was shocked by the cost and what they were asking me to pay for something they were not certain about to begin with. I then decided to have a second mechanic I know and trust look at the car, he immediately found the leak in the Fuel pump and replaced for a total cost of $ 835. There was a difference of $ 3627 between Rosen and my other mechanic whom is not an Audi dealer. I can only presume one of two things, this company is dishonest or this company is incompetent. Do NOT shop here, they are either crooks or incompetent, take your pick… go somewhere else.

Given my first sales experience with Audi Conshohocken, I should have known better than to try to do business with them.
In 2013, I leased an a5 (from Audi Cherry Hill), I absolutely loved my a5. Unfortunately, I took a job that increased my commute so much so that I was over my mileage. I began to consider trading my a5 in for a SUV. I visited the Conshohocken dealership in May 2015, spoke to a salesman, to put it simply, it was a waste of my time. he didn’t listen to what I wanted, the vehicles he presented were not what I asked for, and the cost to step from one vehicle to another was absurd (outside of the overage in miles, that I was willing to pay). I had concerns about the oil consumption in my a5 and was receiving conflicting information from the service department in Conshohocken. I called Audi Corporate, who put me in contact with Javier, the Service Manager in Conshohocken. Javier is a great guy, during our discussion, I shared my sales experience with him — he recommended a colleague that he thought could be of help. I was basically ignored and when I finally got her to respond, she resent me the quote from the other sales colleague that was completed in May (it’s now mid-​September).
If my only interaction with the Audi brand was in Conshohocken, I would have a horrible impression of the company. I’m so glad I visited another Audi location (see my review for Audi Cherry Hill); I got the exact car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. I couldn’t be happier with my Q5.

Talk about terrible customer service and an insulting experience. Went to this dealer about two months ago looking to upgrade my A6 to an S7. You would think selling a car would be something the dealer would be interested in.
Went on a week night and looked around the lot for an S7. The cars in the lot were dirty and most lacked stickers. I walked inside and looked at some models in the showroom. Walked past 3 sales people doing nothing and each made eye contact with me yet offered zero sales assistance. I went back outside and made another trip inside to see I could get some help… nothing, no one moved. Finally as I was walking out one of the salesmen yelled across the showroom asking if I need help. I asked for the S7 and he half-​heartedly pointed to where he thought an S7 was. There wasn’t one inside or outside where he pointed. Sadly, I had to ask him to get up and show me. Right away I was met with an attitude. What ever he was doing was more important than helping me and he was aggravated he had to get up. There was no S7 at the dealership and this clown just shrugged his shoulders. When I told him I didn’t appreciate getting jerked around he just kept up with the attitude. Then another salesperson came outside to ask what the problem was and he immediately took the first salesman’s side and said he didn’t need to «take your shit» and they walked away.
This is even worse considering the last time I bought an A6 18 months ago I went to Audi of Conshohocken and was sarcastically told buy a salesperson «you do know Audi’s are expensive». Thanks for that bit of info moron.
So I haven’t bought the S7 and I think my experience at Audi of Conshohocken has pushed me to buy a Maserati even though I wanted the S7. And guess what; the Maserati salesperson hasn’t told me Maserati’s are expensive… he could not be more professional unlike the salespeople in Conshy.

18 months ago I purchased a Buick Regal GS and was hugely unsatisfied with it! After doing a lot of research I decided Audi was for me, and came to Audi Conshohocken to test drive a few cars.
I arrived here on a Monday around 4:00pm and was greeted by salesman Joe Gargano. I told him I was interested in the Q5 and the A4. We test drove the Q5 first and then the A4. I feel in love with the A4 and decided I wanted to lease one. I told Joe everything I was looking for and he found me a car. After talking with him and the manager Shaun we came to a great number on the car. Right before I was about to sign the papers Shaun realized that the car didn’t have navigation which was something I was adamant about having. He apologized to me and told me the next day they would find me a car. Well sure enough the next day I got a phone call and they told me they had found me the car I wanted. They made me a better deal on this car than the previous one and really worked with me to get me the price I wanted. I really have to commend them on that!
I’ve had the car for just about a week and I love it. I just drove it today in the snow storm we got and the Quattro all-​wheel drive system handled like a dream! I couldn’t be happier with the car and my experience with Audi Conshohocken. I will update this review when I need to take the car in for service, but as of now ⁵⁄₅ starts all the way!

Extremely poor shopping experience.
Went in today to purchase a Q5. Figured that it being NYE and all, it’s a good time to try to get a deal. So far so good. Greeted as we walk in (check), test drive arranged quickly (check) and a good test drive route selected by the sales person to give me a good feel for the car. So far so good— I’m getting a good feel for this dealership, indeed they have a car in stock that’s a good color/​trim combination for our tastes.
So we get to the part I hate. Haggling. I try to keep this to a minimum, but hey, we’re talking about a 55k car, so even a few percentage points moves the needle. We start negotiating, and we’re a little far apart, when the sales lady (whom we liked) pulls in the manager (whom we disliked a LOT).
First, he starts talking down to us («if you want a car at this price, maybe you should consider a cheaper trim level»). Dude. I drove in in a fully loaded Jaguar, which I told you I have no money owed on. I also told you I plan to pay for this car straight up, no financing. It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out I’m probably reasonably well off and don’t need you telling me what I want. Just tell us you can’t do this number for this car and tell us what you can do.
Then, as we’re getting closer to a final number (maybe a 1000 off from shaking hands and walking away), he tells me oh this car just sold, maybe I can interest you in something else (probably about 20 mins since we settled on a car and started talking numbers). We’re clearly a little surprised, so the manager follows by an «oh you can’t be mad can you, we told you these cars were popular» (or something to that effect).
Anyway, if I’m the owner (or really any responsible adult running this business) reading this, I’d talk to this manager (can’t remember his name, young fellow) about not pissing off the people who might be paying money for cars. We’re fine. We’ll just go elsewhere.
(UPDATE, 6 months later: just fyi if the manager looks at this, we bought a fully loaded bmw x5. so thanks for your advice on what i should consider)

I buy or lease a new car every 3 yrs and this is my 1^st Audi! I absolutely hate car dealerships and believe my husband is not someone you want to deal with!
I was at the other Audi in Wilow Grove in the Fall 2013 and it was so much of the same
hard sell BS ! and we left– but had the car in mind –A5– We came here on just a wim and 2 wks later had the car of my dreams! Shaun, the Sales Manager is the best! I had a new salesperson but he is so professional with assistance to make the sale happen and followup with a small scratch that was noticed after I picked up!

The service department here sucks. They are a crowd of thieves, particularly the service writer Jeremy. I have 2 Audis, so I’ve had a bit of experience with this place. A few years back, I got to see how bad they were when it took them 2 tries and about 2 weeks to figure out what was draining the battery on my A8. When the same issue popped up again 2 year after Don Rosen fixed it, I brought the car over to CSE, and they solved the issue permanently and within 2 days.
So today I go in there to pick up my other Audi for it’s final pre-​paid service, and here’s why I’m suspicious of these scammers: When this Jeremy calls me to tell me my car is ready, for the third time in maybe 3 years, he tells me that they found a nail in my tire and they could plug it for me for $ 28??? This time I told him to just leave it. When I get there this morning to pick up my wife’s car, and mention to him how odd I think this tire scam is, the guy goes purple in his face and becomes really rude. He then wants to argue with me that I’m imagining that this has happened 3 times. He looked up the record on my wife’s car, but Slick forgot to see that he pulled that scam on my A8 twice before.
Needless to say, I won’t be back there again. I’m actually even in need of a new car, and I’m stuck on Audis. Guess I’ll be bringing my business to Willow Grove in the future.

We purchased a couple of Audi’s a few years ago and the overall sales experience was better than I thought it would be. My wife and I did the test drive on a Saturday, but we didn’t make up our minds until Monday. I was out of town that week so the rest of the transition was pretty much handled over the phone. Unfortunately, our sales lady is no longer there, but someone calls me every year around this time to check up on how things are going with our vehicles.
Since we basically prepaid for the service, we take our vehicles back here for all service visits. I like the fact that you can schedule your appointment online and they do offer Sat hours. All of the service personnel people I have interacted with over the years have been pleasant to work with and you get a complimentary car wash during your service visit. It appears to be just an exterior wash… an interior vacuum would be a nice touch. The place itself is pretty small and the waiting room on the Audi side is pretty bad. Most times, I just go across to the Porsche side and wait there. The Porsche side also has a couple of work areas, so if you are there on a weekday, you could potentially work remote. Free WiFi, coffee and water is available and they usually have some small snacks as well.
For an Audi dealership, I would like to see this place feel and be a bit more upscale than it is. They are tight on space there and maybe there is simply nothing they can do to expand. Overall though, not a bad dealership.

I had the pleasure to bring my 2007 A4 in to this dealership two years ago, and I was really happy with their service. My engine light had gone on, and after a diagnostic test, the fault was in the crankcase valve and flapper motor. Originally, the technician said it would take $ 900 to fix it with no warranty. After I asked for a discount, they were able to reduce the price by more than half!
During the time that my car was being fixed, the dealership gave me another A4 as a loaner car. I have to say, I really appreciated that they gave me something similar to what I drive. As I have learned later on, dealerships don’t always lend you cars of the same brand or decent quality.
Unfortunately, in these two years, I have had to go to other Audi dealerships for service as I actually live in Pittsburgh. I have not yet found one that has service anywhere as good as the one I have experienced at Conshohocken.
That being said, this was two years ago. I really hope they have maintained their excellent service since then.

Great experience. Shaun was an incredibly professional and knowledgable sales guy, very reasonable to negotiate with. He understood the car business, and explained what they could and couldn’t do, in a fair and reasonable way. He listened to what I was looking for, and was creative in coming up with ways to meet my needs. Great stuff!

I was very happy before today’s visit. The service advisers are always nice and knowledgeable. The technicians are helpful on answering technical questions. In addition, they take care of the cars in the way it should be. I was glad to pay the premium.
Today, I’m completely pissed off by the service director Joe. I simply want to talk with him on the issue I have on the car. He just through hash words on me. He’s very impolite, rude. I’ve never met anyone as rude as him in my life. Oh, maybe a few drunk homeless :)
I’m very surprised he became the director. What a misfortune for the company!
If you want to go there, just deal with the normal adviser. Not the rude man named «Joe»!

If someone takes care of a problem then I feel the least I can do is amend my posting.
Barbara called me from Don Rosen on Friday and said she would be glad to credit my card for the difference between what I was charged and what I was quoted at 2 othe Audi dealers.
So, I thank her for that, but next time I go there I would make sure I have a firm figure on a cost for something.
They did give me a coupon for a free car wash, which was nice, since most dealers would not wash a car after replacing a tire.

So a few of you are well aware that I have been searching for another new car for the past few months. In that time I’ve been all over the area from Reading to West Chester to Allentown and all points inbetween. My experiences have ranged from the good (BMW of Reading) to the bad (BMW of Devon) to the ugly (Vision Auto Group, 2^nd time I have been there where absolutely NO ONE helped me or was even around). Then there wsa the little issue of deciding what kind of car I wanted (BMW, Porsche, Audi, etc) and then even when I had the manufacturer chosen what car to get (M3, new 5 series, Panamera, 911, Cayman, S5, A7, etc. etc). I know, life sucks when you have to make these kinds of decisions right?
After dealing with the other dealerships mentioned above, I always found myself right back where I bought my other car, Don Rosen in Conshohocken. Every time I stopped in I was always greeted by my salesperson, the GM, and just about everyone else that worked there. They understood that I am fussy and particular with my money and were incredibly patient with me through the process. Time and time again I came into the dealership «thinking» I found the right car then after taking a test drive or, on more than one occassion, given the car for a weekend, finding out that there was just something about it that I didn’t like. Not once did anyone roll their eyes or make a stink about me basically racking up miles on a car I didn’t own without a guarantee of me buying it.
This says something about the dealership itself. They want to make sure you buy the right car for you, not the right car for them to make money off of. Obviously they want to make a profit, what business doesn’t, but they are genuinely more concerned that you find exactly what you are looking for so you do not regret the mountain of money you are about to pay for your dream.
For this reason I cannot give anything but 5 stars for this dealership. Always professional, completely easy to deal with (ZERO pressure, seriously) and one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have ever had. As stated in my other review, if you are looking for an Audi or Porsche PLEASE go see them first. You will not be disappointed and tell them I sent you!
P. S. I ended up getting a 2011 Porsche Cayman S. The car is insane! I will put pics up in the old profile soon :)

I went there to buy an S4, Shaun could not find the car in the color combination my wife wanted. I searched online and gave him a vin to lookup the car (so I did his work for him). We agreed on a price and I asked him three times «what is the lowest APR Audi Financial is offering» he kept on telling me 2.9%, We agreed to get the car and next day I found out that Audi’s lowest APR is 1.9%. Next day we cancelled the contract to buy from them as they were not straightforward with us.
Shaun led me to believe that he was extending me the APR he is getting from Audi and not marking it up.
Manager Suzana has no customer service concept, and dealing with her was worse than dealing with Shaun. The General Manager Keith is the only person that talked politely.
I will NOT come back to this dealership

I’m surprised I haven’t rated this company yet… O wait I know why because every Audi dealership/​Service center is the same. 145 for an oil check, Twelve hundred for a heater core, 175 for a replacement key… you get the drift
They do offer you free cars to borrow… ONLY if you brought from them. So for people that just moved up from Atlanta (or really anyone who didn’t buy/​lease from olé’ Donny boy) you will be chauffeured around. Can’t complain but if I am spending money on getting my A4 fixed I would like to be able to come and go as I please.
Reason why they still get 3 stars? You buy and Audi you HAVE GOT to know what you are getting into. You can’t plead ignorance that anything and everything will cost you 300+(easily) more than your old Honda. Plus getting picked up and dropped isn’t too bad, better than most places. Be sure to stop in and get the Audi fleece sweater for 80 bucks in the gift store so everyone can know what you drive.

I took my car in to get a scheduled maintenance with them after being told that they would take care of it and give me a free rental. Upon arrival, I have the awesome privilege to wait for «Mark» to get his paperwork done before actually helping me. Once he is ready, he tries to pitch me on some $ 600 service for my vehicle that would really safeguard the car better than the $ 180 service for which I had brought in said vehicle.
Upon declining this offer, he proceeds to indicate all of the ways my car could fail were I to not go with this option. Again, I had to let him down the hard way with a simple, «no». With this, he shrugs his shoulders in a smug way and finishes clacking away on his dirty, Gateway keyboard.
As he is finishing up, I ask him about the free rental I was promised over the phone and he quickly tells me that they do not do free rentals, but that if I wanted to go with the $ 600 service, then he could always throw in the rental for free. Hrm, sounds to me like he was giving a wee tug on my short and curlies there. When I make clear that I was told the day prior that a free rental would be included, he just shrugged it off and reiterated the $ 600 service option. Instead of snapping his slimy neck, I simply said no and reiterated that he should get his story straight with whomever answered the phone/​scheduled my service.
Fast forward to ten minutes ago and there is «Mark», calling to tell me that my car is in dire need of a number of fixes that will, combined, cost me around $ 3000 to $ 4000. He was nice enough to note that if I did not get them repaired today, that my car would never pass state inspection and would most certainly implode upon itself (I added the last part, although I would not put it past him to state as such.). I go through the prices with him and then ask, «Ok, Mark, what would it take to get it wrapped up and out the door without incurring any of these outrageous costs?» He responded with a price and then quickly added that it would be highly unsafe to drive on my tires and that he would be able to get them swapped out for me for a really, super high price. I told him to wrap it up, that I will take my chances and, would never think of buying tires or anything else through the Don Rosen Imports dealership.
I dare say that he was a bit irritated with me after the last comment. About time he felt even remotely close to how I felt after talking with him this morning.

Need to get your Audi or Porsche serviced? Don Rosen gives you free WI-​Fi and coffee while you wait! They are super nice and have a waiting room with magazines and super nice attendants who won’t actually love what they do for a living.
Clean environment and if your car needs to be kept overnight they will give you a great loaner.
