At The Right Step rehab centers, we provide one of the most recognized Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for drug and alcohol addiction. This treatment program is for you or a loved one who need to address their addiction to drugs or alcohol and are not able to, or do not need to enter residential treatment. Our professional counselors will help you become sober and then maintain that sobriety without greatly interrupting your daily work, or school schedule.

History

Established in 1990.

The Right Step started in 1990 as an extended care facility for men. It continued as a single-​site operation until 1994 when George Joseph stepped into the role of CEO. He brought a combination of effective clinical skills and a fresh approach to the delivery of quality addiction treatment. Most importantly, George brought his unmatched vision and dedication to recovery.

With George at the helm, supported by a skilled clinical and administrative team, his vision took form. Today, The Right Step is the largest private chemical dependency treatment provider in the Southwest. The Right Step is nationally accredited by the Joint Commission.

Business Owner

James Patterson has been working in the field for over 25 years and specialize in treating addicts and alcoholics in an outpatient setting. Focus is on education, family integration, shame reduction, values clarification, relapse prevention, community recovery (12 Step) integration and family empowerment. Each client receives an individualized treatment plan to meet their respective needs. We also offer a dynamic two year Aftercare program that is essential for maintaining high success rates. We build enthusiasm! The cost of the Aftercare is covered by the initial IOP program charges.
