History

Established in 2000.

The Gardens at Madeley Manor is rich in history and rooted in good fortune and a love for the community. The Madeley family came from England and thrived in their new lives but they never turned a blind eye when their community was in need. During a considerable drought, the Madeley family gave the community cornmeal to get them through the hard times and they also went on to establish the first telephone exchange in the area. George Madeley took the reigns of the Conroe Communications Company and it’s success led to the construction of his beautiful family home near downtown Conroe in 1936. This mansion remained in the family until the year 2000 until it was sold to a loving couple that revived it into what is now known as The Gardens at Madeley Manor. Restored to its 1930’s era beauty, The Gardens at Madeley Manor is now a premier event venue offering a unique location for events ranging from weddings to corporate outings, community events, luncheons and all other special occasions.
