The servpro team did not provide me with an idea or estimate of the cost of the work to be performed. After an 2 minute walk of the home, they just started unloading the truck and getting to work. They made me sign some forms and said they would provide me with a copy and as of now it’s been about 2 weeks and I still have no idea. They said that they would give the bill to my insurance company and not to worry about it. Furthermore they provided me with a survey before the work even began and told me that if I did not provide a good review that their jobs could be at jeopardy. This put me in a difficult situation and in my opinion it is a severe conflict. If I did not provide a good review, It’s safe to assume the job would not fulfilled as intended or to my expectation. Additionally they brought in additional equipment that is really overkill for the job needed but intended to increase the bill due to the company since they assumed the insurance company would just pay it out. Which is not the case. They new I had limitations on my policy. I later found out through different insurance companies and other experts in the mediation business, that this particular office in The Woodlands area/branch is know for this. They still have my key to the house and after several attempts to contact, I had to get my whole house rekeyed.
