Note: The dining hall is not open to the general public but is only for campers and staff. After spending a week at the number one resort in northeast Ohio I feel like I finally have a true sense of what it means to eat well. In particular, the primer rib dinner was better than I had ever remembered. The jus and horseradish were fantastic with the meat, and the entire meal was perfect from temperature to portion size. Finally, the salad toppings were endless and imaginative. It’s not just the prime rib dinner that’s great, though. The Friday grilled cheese: fantastic. The Sunday evening veal: tender. It’s a place like the Sheldon Calvary Camp dining hall which really make one question what other restaurants are doing, and why they can’t step it up. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
