Mountain Serenity Salon

Absolutely love this salon! Always fun and friendly but more importantly – very qualified and amazing stylists! Colleen is a superior business owner and a member of our mountain community! I highly recommend Mountain Serenity Salon in Conifer!

My daughter needed a cut and we were happy to get an appointment the same day. She is twelve and has long hair and needed about two inches off. We arrived on time for our appointment and were asked if we could wait so she could start on another client first and while her color set, she would cut my daughter’s hair. We were fine with it, but I did think it was a bit unusual, since we did have an appointment. Oh well… moving on… my daughter had about three inches cut off and the face framing looked like a hedge job; very choppy and did not flow at all. My daughter left in tears (yes, she is 12 years old and a bit sensitive at this age, but her hair just looked odd). I was worried to ask for a correction, since so much had already been cut off. I ended up having to get her face framing hair corrected.
Lastly, my daughter wanted her eyebrows shaped and waxed, and she ended up taking off a section of the brow that most definitely needed to stay. There is now a little hole in the brow, which we will have to fill in with a pencil. I know she is just 12 years old, but we paid for a service and did not feel that it was good.
On a positive note: The shop is clean and the staff is friendly; my daughter loved the hair washing station and the little head massage that went along with it.
