Came to Denver for a mini vacation with some girlfriends for my friends birthday and ziplining with these guys was the best! Matt, Paul, & Rodger were great guides and were very funny ! My friend was a little nervous to go but they were all great and made everyone feel comfortable and made sure everyone was having a good time.
Tip if you going during winter months wear some good hiking/​snow boots! Also totally recommend renting the go pro for $ 40 totally worth it! Cause you’re going to want to capture everything you see!

I loved Zip Lining with this company. They were professional, yet funny and made our safety the top priority. I especially loved sharing this adventure with Betty who celebrated her 90^th birthday by zip lining. You go, Girl!

Gary was wonderful and so patient with me for our mountain biking. We arrived from Florida the day before, so I wasn’t acclimated to the altitude. It took me about 30 – 40 min to get past my sickness, he was so kind. Once I got past it, Gary gave us a great experience. During our bike ride, we saw several deer in the wild. What a great experience.

and now here. Its because I cannot say enough amazing things about this company! We did the nighttime zip lining with a group of friends — and we’d never even zip lined before. We had the absolute best time ever! The 3 guys (Oh I wish I could remember their names!) were awesome! Their main concern was our safety — at all times. But they were also crazy fun and made our experience even more memorable! We are going to zip line during the day soon — and wouldn’t go anywhere else! I highly recommend this company — you will not be disappointed!!!

BUYER BEWARE. THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF.
We were in Denver and booked a Zipline tour with this place because of the great Unilocal reviews. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon and got geared up. Guides seemed nice. We got in a van and drove over to the ziplines. Then a storm blew in during the middle of our zipline orientation on the practice line. We went back to the van and sat in it for 30 minutes to see if the storm would pass. It didn’t. So the guides said the tour was canceled, and drove us back. We took the gear off and the guides asked us all if we wanted to rebook (not a possibility for all of the group because everyone was from out of town), or they would refund us. We all asked for a refund, and the guide said they would write our names down and it would be processed when the office staff came in on Monday. We were told in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that we would all get a refund. Seemed fair and made sense to us.
A month later, still nothing.
I have contacted this place multiple times. Each time the rude girl who answers the phone says something to the effect of «I don’t know what you’re talking about.» And she would deny any offers of a refund, saying the owner would contact us to follow up. Multiple calls, the same thing. Never got a call back.
Why are people so dishonest? I don’t know.

This was the best experience I had on my trip to Denver. The breath taking views and great crowd are a must if you find yourself in the area.

Best zipping tour EVER! The guides were hilarious, but also made the safety both serious and fun. Fastest and highest zips around! I did this with my almost 63 year old Mother, my Aunt, and my younger sister… we all had a BLAST!!! My Mom was so in the moment and forgot about all of her worries and cares. :) Can’t wait to come back and zip again!!! Don’t go anywhere else! It’s well worth the money. :)

We all had a wonderful time zip lining with Denver Adventures today. The staff is friendly, entertaining, and helpful. I was nervous to do this but was repeatedly put at ease and I felt like I was in the best of hands the entire time. The zip line course is beautiful. The forests are lush and zipping through the canyons was exhilarating! Thanks for a memorable and amazing experience!

Awesome experience for my family and our ages range from 5 years old– 43 years old! The guys are super friendly, hilarious and above all they take safety seriously. The experience was awesome!

Chose the 6 zip line package for $ 99.99 at 5:00 and timing and weather couldn’t be more perfect! Loved it!!! Was everything I expected and more. Getting strapped up and ready to zip was easy and quick! Have to also shout out a guide, Kipp! Made my experience 100% more awesome, such a nice & funny guy! Definitely an plus when you get great guide guys:)

This place is awesome! I was super nervous about zip lining because I’m pretty scared of heights but I went with a big group and had a total blast! Stephan, Erika and Katie were our guides and they totally put me at ease and made me feel safe and comfortable! We did 4 out of the 5 zip lines and they were all amazing and different. One was Colorado’s longest and one was Colorado’s fastest! They tell you everything you need to know and do all the hard work, you just have to trust the machinery and them and you’ll have a blast. I would totally do it again!

What an amazing tour definitely do the 6 Zipline Tour! The guides made everyone in the group really comfortable and we had a blast laughing and riding through the woods. It’s for all ages starting at age 5 and up. So much fun you have to experience it !

So. This was really fun.
Me and the girlfriend did the last tour of the day with hopes to see the sunset while we glide through a long wire and hang by a rope hoping it keeps us safe until we reach the other end. I shouldn’t sound so melodramatic because this tour was far from that.
We arrived 30 minutes prior to our schedule so we could check in and hand in our signed waiver (waiver can be printed after you book your tour). We got weighed in and waited until everybody on our tour has arrived. Once everybody was in the premises, we went next door where all the equipments are at. Most importantly, this room is where the bathroom is located. Here’s a pro tip. Use the bathroom before strapping the full body harness, because once you have the harness on, you really can’t use the bathroom unless you 1) undo the harness or 2) pee through your clothes (which I don’t think you would do, so use the bathroom).
The group was strapped in our full body harness, geared up with a helmet and a pair of gloves and headed out. On our way to the van, our gear was checked again (gear check was done throughout the tour for safety).
Our guides were funny which really helped alleviate the nervousness (tour included the longest and fastest line). Our group boarded a van and headed to the site. When we arrived, we had a test zip (line was connected from tree to tree) to have a feel for it and most likely to test the gear.
Now it begins.
I should have known that we were supposed to hike up a mountain (Pro tip: wear good walking, non skid shoes, you will need it).
I. Should. Have. Known.
You would think people from Chicago are all fit. LOL. I am not a part of that crowd.
I was out of breath. I was gasping for air. I thought I was dying. So, if you come from sea level, please make sure you are capable of a long hike and not be in front of the line so you won’t make a fool of yourself like I did.
After catching my breath, the experience was smooth zipping. The view was amazing, the breeze felt good against my face, and screaming (woohoo) made my experience so much fun. And knowing that our guide are pros, I definitely felt safe hanging a million feet off the ground.
I would definitely do this again in a heartbeat.

The tour was as exhilarating as it was humorous! Matt, Roger and Fred made the experience fun and adventurous! Don’t let their easy going attitude fool you, they’re very serious when it comes to safety. You will love it!

I’m not reviewing the actual experience, because unfortunately I did not get to do the ziplining tour I signed up for. So the one star is not a reflection of that.
However, I had made this reservation over a month ago, to do the 6-​line ziplining tour on Wednesday morning. I booked a hotel nearby *specifically* to do the zipline tour, with plans to drive up to Windsor right after I was done to visit family. (I am vacationing from California).
I checked into my hotel at 2 the day before the 9am zipline tour. At 3, I received a phone call that it would be canceled because there weren’t enough people. I understand that policy completely, it’s a waste of their time an effort to do it for one person. That’s not what I’m upset about.
I’m upset because they couldn’t even be bothered to give me 24 hours notice. If YOU want to cancel your reservation and get a refund, you have to cancel with 72 hours, shouldn’t they extend the same courtesy? Had I been given 24 hours notice, I would have got a refund from the hotel, I would not have rented a car for as many nights as I did, and I also would not have driven in snowy weather up a mountain… I would have stayed in Denver where I flew in.
This was incredibly inconvenient for me and disappointing as well, since I’d been looking forward to this for a month. Even if I am back in the area, I will not be using Denver Adventures, no matter how many good reviews they have.

We could not ask for a more professionally run organization– From the top down, safety is the primary focus of Denver adventures and with almost a seamless transition through the safety briefings, you are having a blast and are comfortable with their equipment that is essentially keeping you alive. Look at all of the photos– read the reviews– that says it all– no concerns over sketchy equipment or inattentive staff. Our entire extended family booked an adventure with them and have been planning our next adventure with them since!

The staff was very friendly. The ziplines were very long and impressive.
But there are a few things you should consider before going.
1) The group was way too big.
There were 20 people in our group. You must wait in line and go one at a time. Sort of like waiting 45 minutes at an amusement park for a 1 minute roller coaster ride.
We traveled a total of 6 ziplines. Average time on-​line was longest of 57 seconds, to shortest of 29 seconds. So you spend about 4min 10sec on the zipline total for the day.
But we arrived at 1:15 and returned at 5:15. FOUR hours standing around for 4 minutes of fun. I am not sure if that is worth it. They should limit group to 8 or 10 people, and run more groups.
2) The guides refused to tell me when my son was coming down the line.
I just wanted to get some good photos of my boys coming in on the zipline. There is already a trip-​guide at each end of the zipline talking to each other constantly on the radios. I asked if they could please announce the name of each rider coming down. Other parents said «Yes, please do that.» They said «sure no problem». But time after time they failed to do it. I asked over and over again. Each time they said «sure» but they could not remember a thought for 5 minutes.
It was very frustrating. I would not go again.

Visiting Denver for the first time, we wanted to do something that was unique and really took advantage of the mountains and Colorado’s Great Outdoors. We decided on a Zipline Tour and boy are we glad we did!
First things first: you need to be 225 or lighter, so keep that in mind. With that taken care of, you are given a little orientation and safety instructions. Our guides explained this well and with humor, while giving us confidence in both their expertise and the safety of the harness system. With that, it was off to the zipline!
The van ride was an experience, as our crew — particularly our main guide «Pulse» really come off as charmingly offbeat, rugged adventure-​hippies and cracked jokes all the way.
However, they were nothing but professional when guiding us across each of the zipline crossings, which include apparently both the longest and the fastest zip lines in the state.
The zipline experience itself was awesome. It’s a fantastically unique and awe-​inspiring way to see the hills and forest, with the tops of the trees passing below you, the hum of the zipline being the only sound while you are in the middle of the course, and the cool air pelting your face. I would do it again in a heartbeat, and my wife and I are official zipline enthusiasts that will partake in this activity anywhere that offers it.
Be warned, that a couple parts of the hike are a bit rigorous, but nothing too bad. However, if you are sea-​level lowlanders like us, the thin air can get to you a bit.
And finally, I want to say again how great our crew was. Anyone that was nervous they made feel comfortable by making jokes and paying attention to them, they provided clear instructions on launch and braking at the end, and their fun-​loving attitude encouraged us to enjoy ourselves.
A few practical items:
— They have GoPro cameras for rent that mount on your helmet. Even if you normally are a «I’ll use my own camera» person, I highly recommend it. First, it will help capture some really great POV action shots of you along the treetops that you can’t do with a regular camera while on a zipline. Second, it’s a camera you don’t have to worry about dropping or losing on the trip. My wife got us tethers for our phone cameras but we ended up not using them.
— They provide a key bowl and you can leave items in the locker room. Be aware there isn’t locked areas, so plan accordingly. Consider pants or sweaters with zips to keep any items you don’t want to leave secure, as if something falls while on the line, you aren’t recovering it.
— Wear a sweater or other long-​sleeve cover. In winter, this is very obvious. But in summer, you’re still at high altitude and the wind will be whipping around you. Speaking of which…
— Also wear long pants. They require this and it’s for good reason. Shorts = chafing and possible ‘rope burns’ from the harness. While I found the harness comfy, I was was wearing long pants!
— They actually do weigh you, so you can’t fudge the weight. I think this is a bit less to do with the capability of the line, but that your guides will need to help you brake, and they can only handle so much hurtling at them. Even for lighter people, they need to know the weight to gauge your approach speed and how much force they need to stop you at the end.
— Have fun.
So thanks, Pulse and crew. Next time we’re in Denver, you can bet you’ll be seeing us again!

Our Groomsmen surprised us with a 4-​line zip tour at Denver Adventures as a Wedding Shower gift. We booked online with ease and headed 30 minutes away from downtown two weeks later for our ride. I can honestly say that this was a fabulous experience. Ziplining in general is cool, but the staff made the experience what it was!
I premise with some points I feel Denver Adventures should be tired of stating onsite. People, please read before going!
1) This is NOT a walk-​in reservation place — request your reservation in advance. They offer morning, afternoon, evening & night tours.
2) At the time of reservation, they’ll send you a two-​page waiver. Each zipper must fill this out AND bring it with them. I saw a few exceptions on this, but it was highly frustrating for those who followed instructions.
3) They STRICTLY enforce a one person, 225lbs weight limit, per line policy. If your weight exceeds 225lbs, sorry but their lines cannot accommodate you for a tour.
4) Do not think about ziplining under the influence of weed OR alcohol. At first I didn’t understand why, but now I get it. A high person could easily become overly paranoid & freak out/​a drunk person may not take the instructions seriously… either way, putting others in harm’s way.
5) Conifer is in the mountains. Dress in LAYERS; we all know the weather is bi-​polar. Aside from the weather, layers also aide in comfort while riding. Don’t make the mistake I made by wearing those new-​age MC Hammer type of boho pants either. My butt looked saggy and the harness accentuated places I’d prefer strangers not to see.
6) Bring CASH to tip your Tour Guides. You may think «it’s their job to have fun all day every day, I’m not tipping» OR «I already paid too much for this, I’m not tipping»… Believe me, you will feel the urge to tip by the end of the trip.
Moving on…
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the front desk to square away your reservation. Afterwards, you’ll be invited to enjoy ONE beverage in the bar before departing. I found the bar to be very Coloradan with wood accents, mason jars of all sizes, and barrels used for tables. A nice touch!
The group is then gathered for to be individually weighed in a private closet before heading to be harnessed. This is when we met our Tour Guides (Jon, Matt & Pulse). I could immediately tell these guys were excited to make the experience fun for the group! Their instructions & safety bits were not boring; quite entertaining actually. Depending on your group size, plan on this taking 13 – 26 minutes. I felt they did a spectacular job in checking everyone’s gear throughout the tour too!
Next, it’s time to board the vans. If you get car sick, mention that to the Tour Guides so you are not stuck sitting in the back of the van. The ride doesn’t get uncomfortable until mid-​way through Conifer Park where the lines are located and terrain is bumpy. My husband is 6ft tall and had a lovely trampoline-​ride sitting in the very back of the van. Ha.
Once everyone arrives, the group takes a swift walk to the practice line where safety is visited for the second time. Each zipper takes turn to practice before the real thing. Our Tour Guides offered tips for riding comfort as well. The group dynamics coupled with our Tour Guides’ humor meant about 75% of the safety lecture included giggles. Again, the Tour Guides did a great job not draining your excitement when giving the group information!
Four lines were included in our tour. I took Mariah Carey on the «running zip», where you literally have to run-​off the stand for speed! One of the Tour Guides said that was a first he’s seen to calm nerves. However, I’m not sure her screaming in my ears as my phone is tucked in my sports bar truly calmed any nerves. «Emotions» may have not been the best song choice either! I’d say the «scenery zip» was my favorite. Still at a length of 1000 feet, it was long but not too long. The overlook had a serene aura of undisturbed wilderness about it. The «long zip», pushing nearly 2000 feet, was LONG. My husband videoed this line and the ride lasted a minute. The «fast zip» is the fastest in Colorado and reaches speeds of 55mph. I videoed this ride as I dropped through the trees into a meadow where I had to ‘starfish’ to slow my roll. Eek!
Lastly, my mindset during the tour… who would’ve thought a girl with parasailing & hot air ballooning experience would be so nervous to zipline? Each time I approached the stand my excitement turned into anticipation and then anxiety. The activity itself is exhilarating; but facing the path before riding is scary. I remember thinking, «wait. I ride THAT metal line? by myself? being held by one harness? only allowed to hold onto one of the two thin ropes?» Still a blast, but I think I’d be better off on a night tour where I couldn’t see what’s ahead of me.
