Good. Good toppings. Like going there. Would like more than one non-dairy selection. Would like actual register receipts that state the name of the store etc.

We love the yogurt shack. Their topping are far better than any of the other froyo spots around town. Their cookie dough is like actual cookie dough. Yum!

Thank you Unilocal!Me and my daughter tried this place out and it’s so cute n clean. The girl assisted us right away, very nice. Good flavors, topping galore! They had fruits and mochi too(my fav!). Sampled everything and it all tasted good– my daughter loved the watermelon flavor and I got cake batter and Dutch chocolate. Yum yummmm! Will be coming back!

Showed up tonight about thirty minutes before they closed. The employees were in no rush to close, which was very pleasant. They actually seemed happy to still be serving people. One of them was actually very cheery as she offered free samples. The condiments bar is like nothing I have ever seen. Sure, they have all the regular condiments that you will find at any yogurt shop. What sets this one apart from the others is the detail that went into dressing them up. I’ve never seen M&M’s layered in such a way before. Someone actually took the time to do that, and it turned out awesome. Good music was playing loud, not too loud though. It was like a mini party, as literally everyone is singing.

Very clean environment, froyo was delicious and reasonably priced. Crystal and Stephen were very helpful and the hot fudge was to die for. Highly recommend, I’ll definitely be back for more

This place used to be my favorite, but lately it’s gone downhill. Same boring flavors, place is dirty, and the workers seem bothered having to help customers. Tonight took the cake. My sweet boyfriend drove the 20 minutes up there to fulfill my frozen yogurt craving. He texts me the flavors, which haven’t changed. I get the cappuccino and he gets his mixed with chocolate. He drives home and I can’t wait to get my sweet treat. Mine doesn’t have much taste, while his tastes sour. I keep eating mine and notice a tart sour taste as well. I try his chocolate and it’s like sour cream. It’s awful! Not wanting to get sick, we throw it away. There went $ 6, gas money and time. Time to find a new frozen yogurt place.

Friendly staff, plenty of options and the kids love it! My husband just wished they would have the peanut butter frozen yogurt more often! So yummy!

I love going to this place for desert. Very friendly and helpful staff. They change up the flavors occasionally which is nice, except when they don’t have my favorite. I prefer the Country Vanilla, which is occasionally switched out for some other vanilla flavor. They have large selection of toppings, and usually 8 flavors of yogurt. They usually have 1 non-dairy(often some sort of sorbet) and one no-sugar-added(they use artificial sweetener, which I personally dislike). They keep the tables and other surfaces surprisingly clean given how many young kids and careless people eat in the store. I have never felt anything sticky when I sat down or leaned on the counter. One thing I’d like to see from them are more tart flavors, flavors with less sugar *not* replaced with artificial sweeteners, and more fresh-fruit choices as toppings. Last time I went, they had blackberries and strawberries.

Boring flavors, tastes cheap. Close to no fresh fruit toppings, and the couple they do have out look questionable. Last resort type froyo place. It looks clean and has a convenient location.

The only reason I am giving this place a 3 is for the limited amount of flavors they have. Their flavors are pretty good but extremely limited in number and variety. Plus, they don’t always have a regular chocolate or vanilla which I think are essential flavors but, personal opinion. I will say though that they make up for this with their eclectic and copious amount of toppings available. The place is always clean and has plenty of seating inside and outside. Good yogurt place if feeling like some and you are in the area. I recently had their mango flavor and it was really great, tasted like a real mango!

This place is a gem tucked away in Clayton Valley shopping center. It’s wonderful! The amount of tasty toppings in this cute little shack is everything you could want on a dream sundae, but the best part was the service. Jacob was so friendly and welcoming. He was very polite and helpful. He was the cherry on top! Jacob helped us create the best frozen summertime dessert. We can’t wait to go back for more yogurt and fun! I recommend this place to anyone.

I was craving Yogurtland but the 15 min drive to Pleasanthill seemed too long. Yogurt Shack is less than 5 mins away from me so I decided i would give it a shot. I got a cappuccino and vanilla… Not my usual flavors but they didnt have a lot of options. I filled my toppings come to find out my favorite which is mochi balls were designated in another stand. This was a bit annoying because if they had been all in one counter I wouldnt have chosen just anything. Anyway paid my $ 4 but I wished I just drove out to yogurtland instead where they would have my tart or coconut flavors to go with the mochi balls. Good location for concord, but didnt fill my craving. And dont try the cappuccino… Nasty!

Been coming back to this place for almost 2 years now and I love how they rotate/change flavors whenever I go in. Adore the polite teens working here, they’re always greeting customers, standing by the machines ready to offer free tasting on new flavors. Ambience is great, plenty of seating, indoor and outdoors, family friendly and not too loud for those just wanting to have a cup of frozen yogurt. They accept debit cards and have a «shack card» for yogurt lovers who frequent the place.

Just Say Yo. As in Yogurt. As in Frozen Yogurt. Or, as the wannabe-hipsters say, fro-yo. Or, as they’d say in this huge shopping center, Yogurt Shack. I never thought to try it out, but when our daughter got a coupon for a freebie here, we figured«aaa, why not». I like free. Besides, I can barely tell the difference between ice cream and frozen yogurt. I guess frozen yogurt is your choice when you’re trying to lose weight, and as you can see by my pics, I’m carrying a lot of extra, heh heh… Several flavors, lots of toppings, sold by weight. She had vanilla with strawberries and blueberries, I had chocolate with Heath bar and walnuts, I forget what the hunny had. All were yummy. Faux beach theme; even the support beam is painted like a palm tree. Lots of seats, good for those 100-degree days. There are so many stores at this corner, so you need to know exactly where to go to get to Yogurt Shack. It’s in the middle, kinda close to Orchard Supply. Hint: It’s on Ygnacio Valley Road, not Kirker Pass Road, therefore it’s south of Clayton Road. Okay, maybe I’m a stickler on directions, or it’s my inner engineer coming out. It’s a good dessert place if you’re in the area, whether you gotta get out of the heat or you’re craving some yo.

I’ve been going here for years since it’s opened and lately I have never been so disappointed. Since this is(was now) my go to yogurt spot that I even have gift cards. However all of a sudden they are no longer accepting gift cards because their systems are being updated. The first time they said I understood and they gave it to is for free. We went the following week and still no machine so we had to pay cash. Annoying. A month later STILLNOMACHINE. No ETA on when they will upgrade and no sign saying they don’t accept gift cards. So why the heck do I even have one then?! Put a freaking sign out or better yet– UPDATEYOURSYSTEM. I’m not going here anymore because I can’t use my gift card. So much for taking care of their loyal customers…

Yogurt Shack is the frozen yogurt shop I pass by most often, so they have a special spot in my heart. They do not have the best frozen yogurt ever but they do not have the worst either. The parking situation can get rather tricky as it is in a shopping center with a few other popular stores. However, I always get lucky with the parking every time I visit, so no complaints from this customer. I do enjoy taking the daughter here, though, as their employees are all kids from what I can see. They are not the model of spectacular service, but neither are they the stereotypical disinterested teenage employees I have encountered from other businesses. I want the daughter to get used to the idea of kids being employed without hating it and this yogurt shop is one of those places near me where I can do so. The store is neat if not impeccable. The employees always greet you politely and never fail to offer their help. And I want to support these kids, and this is why I keep coming back to The Yogurt Shack even though I know there is better frozen yogurt to be had elsewhere.

The parking is a little hard for this place, and sometimes the teenage employees are too busy talking to each other to be really efficient when a customer enters, but I looooooooooooove frozen yogurt! tons of toppings, tons of flavors coming in and out, and good with sugar free and non fat options. The hours change, depending on the time of the year, so call ahead!
