History

Established in 2015.

Opening a restaurant in her hometown of Concord, Massachusetts, is the culmination of proprietor Kristin Canty’s journey to support small farming and celebrate the benefits of fresh local food.

In her search for the right farms to source her restaurant with pasture raised meat and dairy, Kristin discovered and fell in love with a 260 acre property in Bath, New Hampshire. She and her husband Jim purchased the farm and hired two resident farmers to bring it back to full production. They named the farm «The Farm at Woods Hill» as the original property, dating back to 1794, was called «Woods Hill Farm».

It was a natural next step to name the restaurant «Woods Hill Table». Kristin, and her team work with many other farmers and fishermen who share their understanding of the direct connection between delicious, flavorful dishes and nutrient-dense, earth-friendly farming and pasturing practices.
